  <p>We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or CBT Therapist to join our dynamic Diabetes Psychology Team (30 hours per week).</p> <p>If you are an enthusiastic and motivated clinician with experience in working with people with diabetes or Long-Term Conditions (LTC), and you are passionate about delivering evidence-based psychological interventions and service development, we encourage you to apply.</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity to develop advanced clinical skills within a multidisciplinary team and be involved in a key service development project. Regular supervision will be provided.</p> <p>The post holder will be responsible for delivering a specialist psychology service to patients living with Type 2 diabetes in Well Street Common PCN and Hackney Marshes PCN.</p> <p>Your work within the Diabetes Psychology team will be central to improving patient engagement, self-management, and overall outcomes, with a specific focus on addressing health inequalities. This includes identifying and working with patients who struggle to attend appointments, as well as providing one-to-one and group-based support for individuals struggling with diabetes related distress. It will also involve wider outreach in the community and skilling up primary care staff to improve effectiveness of patient contact.</p> <p>You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team with disciplines including Endocrinology, Nursing, Psychology, Dietetics, and Diabetes Lay Educators and the wider primary care team.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul>  <li>Clinical: Providing specialist psychological interventions to complex patients living with Type 2 diabetes, within HM &amp; WSC PCNs to improve self-management and promote active, healthy lifestyles.</li>  <li>Service &amp; Community Engagement: Identifying barriers to engagement in diabetes management within the two PCNs through focused research, including questionnaires and focus groups.</li>  <li>Awareness &amp; Outreach: Engaging with the community to raise awareness of diabetes management resources, with a strong focus on marginalised groups.</li>  <li>Staff Training &amp; Support: Skilling up existing staff on the knowledge and awareness of psychological barriers to engagement in diabetes care, and utilising resources like MDMs to improve the effectiveness of patient contact and reduce disengagement.</li>  <li>Peer Support: Setting up peer support initiatives based on identified need, making strategic use of existing community resources.</li>  <li>Sustainability: Developing a sustainable model of care that can be fully integrated into the PCN's ongoing services after the initial funding period concludes.</li> </ul>

  <p>The North East Thames Regional Genetics Service is seeking a Registered Genetic Counsellor to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality genetic counselling for patients and families across the NE Thames region.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>You will:</p> <p> Provide expert genetic counselling for individuals and families referred to the service, across cancer, rare disease and prenatal genetics, delivered through virtual clinics or face-to-face appointments across the region. The focus of this role will be rare-disease and prenatal genetics.</p> <p> Support patients through complex decision-making processes, including diagnostic testing, predictive testing, carrier screening, and reproductive planning.</p> <p> Work closely with the wider genetic counselling team, clinical geneticists, administrative personnel, laboratory scientists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.</p> <p> Contribute to service development, audit, and education initiatives within the department.</p> <p> Actively participate in multidisciplinary meetings and regional collaborations.</p>

  <p>St Werburgh's practice is a specialist practice for the homeless in Chester.</p><p>As such many of our patients have complex physical and mental health issues, including substance misuse.</p><p>We are looking for a counsellor to compliment our small existing clinical team with in-house counselling.</p><p>This is a challenging but very rewarding work environment and you will be part of a very experienced team.</p><p>You will also work with outside agencies as we aim to support patients back into mainstream living.</p>

  <p>This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to person centered care in a CMHT, where the expectations of the work will be broad and varied. You will be joining a friendly multidisciplinary team with great prospects for developing a good range of skills whilst in a supportive and dynamic environment. Our service aims to promote an optimum level of recovery, independence and social inclusion for each individual.</p> <p>This fixed term post is to work in the South Community Mental Health Team. The hours are 0.6 WTE (22.5 hours) for a B8a, or as a B7 this would be 0.7 WTE (26.25hours).</p> <p>We would consider applications from candidates wishing to apply for either a B7 or a B8a position.   <p>We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated, skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist or Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist (CBT) to work as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team.</p> <p>You should be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm and willingness to work proactively in both multi-disciplinary teams and within a multi-agency context. This role provides excellent opportunities for developing your skills in both direct and indirect team working, within a supportive team of experienced psychological therapists. </p> <p>The job will involve working alongside experienced MDT colleagues to offer one-to-one evidence-based psychological interventions to service users and their families, contributing to and delivering group work. The role also includes joint and indirect work with colleagues (team formulation, staff training, support and consultation around psychological issues); and appropriate audit, service development, evaluation and research activities as required. </p> <p>The post will suit a candidate with experience of work with adults with complex presentations, such as psychosis, bipolar disorder, complex trauma and personality difficulties. The psychological therapies team includes both clinical psychologists and CBT psychotherapists who offer a range of interventions including CAT, CBT, EMDR, ACT, family work, DBT-informed work, and CFT. The post would provide excellent opportunities in terms of developing specialist skills in psychological models of care.</p>
