  <p>We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated, skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist or Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist (CBT) to work as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team.</p> <p>You should be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm and willingness to work proactively in both multi-disciplinary teams and within a multi-agency context. This role provides excellent opportunities for developing your skills in both direct and indirect team working, within a supportive team of experienced psychological therapists. </p> <p>The job will involve working alongside experienced MDT colleagues to offer one-to-one evidence-based psychological interventions to service users and their families, contributing to and delivering group work. The role also includes joint and indirect work with colleagues (team formulation, staff training, support and consultation around psychological issues); and appropriate audit, service development, evaluation and research activities as required. </p> <p>The post will suit a candidate with experience of work with adults with complex presentations, such as psychosis, bipolar disorder, complex trauma and personality difficulties. The psychological therapies team includes both clinical psychologists and CBT psychotherapists who offer a range of interventions including CAT, CBT, EMDR, ACT, family work, DBT-informed work, and CFT. The post would provide excellent opportunities in terms of developing specialist skills in psychological models of care.</p>

  <p>An opportunity has arisen for a <strong>Practitioner Psychologist/Specialist Psychological Therapist</strong> to join the <strong>Sussex Eating Disorder Service (</strong>SEDS<strong>)</strong>. We are a passionate multidisciplinary team delivering NICE recommended treatments aiming to provide the best possible care to adults living with eating disorders.</p> <p>Previous experience of working in an eating disorder service is desirable but not necessary, as we offer considerable in-house and external training opportunities (including CBT-T, CBT-E and MANTRA). The post will be supervised by a senior psychological therapist within the team.</p> <p>Covering the whole of Sussex, SEDS provides specialist eating disorder services across a large geographical area.There may be a requirement to travel across the area dependent on service demand.   <p>The Wellbeing Service is part of the national IAPT programme, aimed at helping people across Suffolk aged 16 and over, who are suffering with mild to moderately severe anxiety and depression.</p> <p>You will be fully accredited CBT Therapist with the BABCP.</p> <p>We want patients and staff to recommend our organisation as a place where they would be happy for their friends and family to be treated. We will offer evidence based psychological treatments to help individuals to live well with their condition, and strengthen links with key physical health colleagues in our area. Additional training in working with Long Term Conditions will be provided.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
   <p>You will provide high intensity interventions to a range of adults with anxiety, depression and trauma related problems. You will receive regular supervision as well as in service training and CPD days that ensure your continued learning and development. This is an opportunity to join an established team of Psychological Therapists providing a range of NICE compliant treatments at Step 3. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.</p> <p>Experience of working in Primary Care will be an advantage. As well as 1:1 work you may be expected to co-facilitate group interventions. For the delivery of group work we provide training and additional support, should you need it.</p> <p>As a Band 7 therapist, you will contribute to the on-going development and evaluation of the service.</p> <p>The post will be based in one of our sites in Ipswich or Bury St Edmunds, dependent on applicants own location, however, there is a requirement to work across Suffolk as required. This role is designed to support qualified psychodynamic psychotherapists in gaining valuable NHS experience and to contribute to the ongoing development of psychodynamic psychotherapy within specialist NHS mental health services.</p>
<p>As a team, we are committed to supporting psychodynamic practitioners in preparing for clinical work within the NHS and fostering the integration of psychoanalytic approaches into multidisciplinary mental health care.</p>
<p>You will be based at the Whiteleaf Centre in Aylesbury, working with the Buckinghamshire Psychological Therapies team-- a friendly, experienced group of psychological therapists, psychotherapists, and psychiatrists. The service is embedded within a vibrant NHS environment that includes adult and older adult mental health services, a primary care mental health team, the Early Intervention Service for psychosis, the crisis team, and the community mental health team.</p>

<li>This is an unpaid honorary position, with flexible working arrangements available to accommodate other paid employment.</li>
<li>We ask for a minimum commitment of 2 patients per week, with an initial commitment of 6 months.</li>
