Senior Counsellor (CfD - Counselling for Depression) 

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>It is an exciting time to join the Talking Therapies team as we expand to deliver a high-quality psychological therapy service which is forward thinking and innovative.</p> <p>We are recruiting Counsellors/Psychological Therapists with skills in the practical application of NICE recommended modalities - Person-Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression (PCE-CfD/CfD), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) or Couples Counselling for Depression, Interpersonal Psychotherapy. The post holder will work offering one of these NICE recommended modalities as part of a team of Counsellors/Psychological Therapists in the Talking Therapies service.</p> <p>Training in a NICE recommended counselling modality is essential if the candidate does not already have the required training. Training (if required) will be arranged by the Talking Therapies service, run alongside the post through the learning provider, require course attendance and clinical supervision, submission of competence based video recordings.</p> <p>Candidates are required to hold, at a minimum, an Advanced Diploma in Counselling that has included a placement of 80 hours plus, to ensure that they are equipped to undergo the specific modality training and work independently in the team. The post holder must be Accredited or working towards accreditation with BACP or UKCP.</p> <p><strong>Please note that this is a West Cornwall based role and there is an expectation for the successful candidate to work in-person within West Cornwall.</strong></p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will be expected to assess, formulate and implement NICE-recommended modalities of counselling.</p> <p>As a Counselling/Psychological Therapist you will be working with individuals experiencing low mood/depression.</p> <p>All Talking Therapies counsellors/psychological therapists, are required to deliver high quality services through the use of routine outcome measures, evidence-based treatment, electronic record and data management systems.</p> <p>Participation in clinical and management supervision. The post holder will be responsible for providing time-limited counselling to those service users who meet the service referral criteria. The duration of counselling interventions will be in accordance with the Talking Therapies national guidelines and service expectations</p>

  <p>We are seeking to recruit a Registered and/or Accredited Band 5, 6 or 7 Counsellor to join the West Dorset Team .</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity for someone with the appropriate skills, experience and qualifications to join a highly motivated, professional and committed team. All successful candidates will be expected to train or be qualified in one of the following NICE Approved Counselling modalities; Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT) Person Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression (PCE CfD) or Couples Therapy for Depression (CTfD).</p> <p>The requirements for a Band 5 position will be a minimum of a recognised Diploma in Counselling, be Registered with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and be working towards Accreditation.   <p>You will be expected to provide Counselling via Face to Face appointments digital and telephone platforms including on occasion home visits and working with interpreters. We provide short term time limited treatment. You may be required to facilitate groups online or in person and have excellent administration, IT and communication skills. <p>Rethink Mental Illness are looking for an experienced Counsellor to join or team at HMP Full Sutton.</p><p><strong>This role is a Bank position.&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Imagine being part of an organisation whose common purpose is to help those who are severely impacted by mental illness. This is delivered over a brief model (6-8 session) in either 1:1 or group settings.
