The service comprises several borough based multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, FCPNS, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Family Therapists, Social Workers, Life Skills Recovery Workers and Peer Support and Care Peer Support Workers. The service model places a strong emphasis on multidisciplinary work and service user involvement, and co-production. <p>We are seeking to recruit Radiographers for our Diagnostic Service. This rotational position, at the core of the Service, provides a wealth of opportunity to those looking to be part of a high quality and respected department. </p>
<p>This role would suit those with postgraduate Radiography experience, looking to develop their specialist paediatric Radiography skills and utilise their clinical skills in a supportive and innovative department, where maintaining an excellent diagnostic service to patients and their families is key.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>Mind Matters NHS Talking Therapies are looking to recruit a number of full time Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners on a fixed term 1 year contract. The NHS Talking Therapies specific training involves in person training at ReadingUniversity with the remainder of your time spent at Mind Matters Base (Unither House, Chertsey).You will be required to work one late shift per week until 8pm.</p>
<p>In addition to attending Reading University for training, you will be learning all about Mind Matters, assisting with administrative duties &amp; as your training progresses you will move on to assess &amp; treat those using Mind Matters for mild to moderate presentations of Anxiety &amp; Depression. You will be trained to deliver high volume, low intensity cognitive behavioural therapy guided self-help interventions and gain the opportunity to offer Interventions by telephone, Microsoft Teams or in person, &amp; group settings.</p>
<p><strong>BEFORE APPLYING</strong>, please read the attached person and job specification attached to ensure you hold sufficient qualifications and experience for the role, and ensure that you are available to start your role in <strong>February </strong>and can attend all training in person at Reading University and the Mind Matters Hub location in Chertsey the remainder of the week.</p>
<p>You would be upgraded to a band 5 position as a PWP after receipt of written confirmation of course completion from training provider and consequently application for professional registration.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>A key part of your role will be undertaking assessments with people with common mental health difficulties, identifying goals and undertaking risk assessments. You will identify treatment plans with your supervisor, communicate plans to your clients and navigate our clinical IT system, sending relevant GP and client letters. You will provide treatment to people struggling with common mental health difficulties. This will involve providing a range of evidence based low-intensity psychological treatments. It will include providing 1:1 guided self-help, delivering computerised CBT and assisting/running psychoeducational groups for clients. You will be responsible for signposting and onwards referrals in collaboration with your supervisor for any inappropriate referrals. You will need to adhere to an agreed amount of client contacts offered per week. You will keep records of clinical activity and use such records, as well as clinical outcomes, to make decisions with your supervisor.</p>
<p>You will need to attend and fulfil all the requirements of the trainee PWP course, including practical and academic university assessments. You will need to be compliant with all the mandatory NHS training. You will need to prepare and present clinical information to your case management supervisor to ensure safe practice and implement any suggestions from supervision. You will be required to engage in clinical skills supervision in order to improve your competencies and clinical practice.</p>
