<p>You will be expected to be flexible with good communication skills and team working ethic. You must have experience in the NHS and experience in interventional radiography would be an advantage, although we can provide training.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Our diagnostic radiology service is provided by the Lister hospital, the new Queen Elizabeth II hospital and the Hertford County hospital and includes plain film, interventional, fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, NM SPECT, DXA and breast imaging.</p> <p>We have two 3T Siemens Skyra scanners and a 1.5T MRI Avanto (re-fitted in November 2018) and 5 CT scanners, three Siemens (two Force and an AS+) and two Toshiba Primes.</p> <p>Our expanding interventional service includes an interventional room with a GE Innova machine within Radiology and a dedicated recovery area. There is also a further fluoroscopy room.</p> <p>The Trust is providing a 24/7 vascular hub for the region and a state-of-the-art hybrid theatre with a Philips Azurion 7 C20 with FelxArm system installed Spring 2025</p> <p>We also use a GE Elite for vascular cases in theatre which include EVARs, angiograms and angioplasties. We perform a wide range of vascular, urology/renal and GI cases.</p> <p>You will perform a range of diagnostic imaging procedures to agreed professional standards incorporating the College of Radiographers and departmental guidelines within Radiology and in theatre. You will also supervise, assist and train Student Radiographers and Assistant Practitioners.</p> <p>This is based at the Lister Hospital, Stevenage, but you may be required to travel to our other sites. In addition you will participate in on-call duties to provide emergency vascular imaging to our patients.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are looking for enthusiastic psychological therapists / psychologists to work in our Pain Management team as part of an integrated multi-disciplinary service.</p>
<p>Although the main base for the role(s) will be Broomfield Hospital, we have an Pain Service presence at all sites within MSE (Broomfield, Southend, Basildon &amp; Orsett) and this role may involve also working at one other of our hospital sites.</p>
<p>The team works with complex mental health patients with complex Pain Management issues.</p>
<p>You will be expected to provide specialist psychological assessment and effective evidence based interventions.</p>
<p>We are interested in candidates with specialist skills in at least one of the following specialist psychotherapies: CBT and/or ACT.</p>
<p>We are interested in candidates who have experience in delivering group and 1-2-1 sessions.</p>
<p>You will have a commitment to team working and service user and carer involvement.</p>
<p>Experience of working with diversity in a multicultural setting is vital.</p>
<p>The service offers the opportunity to develop skills in psychosocial interventions for complex difficulties in an MDT setting.</p>
<p>You will be part of a supportive group of colleagues, with good supervision structures and access to opportunities within the wider trust for development of special interests.</p>
<p>The service is supportive of continuing professional development.</p>
<p>These roles are available on a full time, part time or job share basis.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You provide psychological screening, psychoeducational information, assessment and treatment to patients and their families within MSE Pain Services, with adult outpatients, based on a holistic formulation using appropriate evidence-based psychological theories, models and practice.</p>
<p>Participate in Pain Service multi-disciplinary team discussions and decision making.</p>
<p>To offer consultation around patients' psychological care to non-psychological colleagues, and to other, non-professional carers.</p>
<p>Where appropriate to offer reflective spaces to relevant staff as required.</p>
<p>Offer/assist with the delivery of psychoeducational training to members of the Pain Service multi-disciplinary team as required.</p>
<p>Work in ways which are sensitive to the needs of staff/patients from a wide range of racial, cultural and religious backgrounds.</p>
