			<p>Are you an experienced Psychologist looking to take the next step in your career?&nbsp;This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a&nbsp;multi-disciplinary psychological therapies team which covers both male and female adult acute inpatient wards (23 beds in total) at Potters Bar Clinic.</p>
<p>You&nbsp;will provide a clinical service of specialist psychology assessments and interventions to a number of adult service users with&nbsp;acute mental health needs&nbsp;on the ward. You will also provide a specialist clinical perspective in relation to other service users with whom you might not be directly involved. Potters Bar uses a formulation driven and trauma informed model of care.</p>
<p>Reporting directly to the Lead Psychologist, you will be responsible for individual and group interventions, diagnostic and cognitive assessments, MDT working and risk assessments. You will also facilitate staff reflective practice sessions and be requested to design and deliver training.</p>

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in an 8a role as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist within our Children and Young People's Mental Health Services (CYPMHS, formerly known as CAMHS) multidisciplinary team. The role involves delivering a high-quality service provision that promotes and improves the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people and their families in the East of Hertfordshire, with our three bases, predominantly Hoddesdon but may be required to cover Welwyn Garden City and Bishop Stortford.</p><p>You will have HCPC registration and provide a highly specialist child and adolescent service within the context of the principles of CAPA (The Choice and Partnership Approach) and CYP-IAPT, providing both core work and specific/specialist work. HPFT has been at the forefront on national developments in CYPMHS, including CAPA and CYP-IAPT,</p><p>CYPMHS East is a caring, supportive and hard-working team which prides itself in working in collaboratively with young people and stakeholders in service delivery.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will be responsible for a caseload of complex assessment, treatment and consultation work with children and their families/carers/networks who have mental health issues. They will work as a member of the multidisciplinary team providing interventions in line with the principles and practice of CYP-IAPT. They will work in ways which are sensitive to and appropriate for the needs of families from a wide range of racial, cultural and religious backgrounds. They will undertake risk assessment and risk management for all children and adolescents, including the protective and risk factors in the network of significant relationships.</p>
<p>They will act as care coordinator, where appropriate, ensuring provision of a care plan, taking responsibility for initiating, planning and review of the client's care, ensuring the work of others involved and communicating effectively with the child/ the carer/professional as appropriate, monitoring the progress of multi-disciplinary interventions.</p>

          <li>Proven experience working with individuals and group work. Proven experience in developing and facilitating psychological and emotional wellbeing groups such as mindfulness, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) skills, or relaxation techniques. Able to deliver low-intensity psychological skill-based interventions in a palliative setting. Able to hold a caseload and contribute to risk management. Ability to positively engage adults, families, and staff. Ability to communicate verbally and in written format. experience in delivering psychological psycho-educational sessions to groups and individuals where appropriate on challenges such as anxiety low mood with a focus on grief and loss. Collaborate with volunteers and community teams to support social groups in our community cafes and support work that builds a focus on social connection, reducing isolation, and developing coping strategies. A commitment to life-long learning and undertaking personal development opportunities. The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including the recently bereaved. A good understanding of technology with a working knowledge of Microsoft 365 packages, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams. Good organisational skills. Able to work accurately with excellent attention to detail. Able to build good working relationships with a diverse range of people. Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Self-motivated with ability to work autonomously and as an effective team member, using initiative. Ability to prioritise effectively and produce work to high standards under pressure. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Sensitivity and understanding to the needs of the volunteers and customers, many of whom may have experienced Rennie Grove Peace services or be bereaved themselves.</li>
          
        </ul>
        
        
          <h4>Desirable</h4>
          <ul>
            
            <li>Accreditation with a recognised membership body. Relevant experience of managing/working with volunteers. Resilient-based supervision training. Experience of working in palliative care. Experience working with groups such as bereavement, carer support, children, and family groups. Experience in facilitating training. Strong people management skills. Bereavement palliative care experience.</li>
