  <p>This is an exciting opportunity to join the Early Intervention Prevention and Promotion Service within the CAMH Service joining the established Local Integrated Family Team (LIFT), a multi-disciplinary, integrated partnership, successfully bringing together Conwy and Denbighshire County Councils and the Central Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMH) services. LIFT works with children of all ages, families and wider systems to understand behaviours that challenge within the home. Whilst employed through Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB), you will be embedded within the LIFT team contributing to the values of the service, which puts families at the heart. Using a compassionate bio-psycho-social understanding of challenging behaviour, LIFT works with the 'missing middle', providing assessment and intervention where universal interventions have been exceeded, and where difficulties do not meet thresholds for statutory services.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The team are looking for an enthusiastic Family and Systemic Psychotherapist to work alongside the LIFT Team Manager and other specialists to support the service to meet the team's aims and uphold its values and purpose. The successful candidate will coordinate and provide a Family Therapy service within LIFT team, as part of the wider Central Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMH) Early Intervention, Prevention and Promotion (EIPP) service, covering the areas of Conwy and Denbighshire. Newly qualified psychotherapists, and those due to qualify as Family and Systemic Psychotherapists, would be welcome to apply, with opportunities for further professional development supported.</p> <p>An understanding of child development and systemic factors which contribute to healthy child- parent relationships are desirable, along with any experience of using evidence based and practice-based evidence, to deliver interventions within services would be valued.</p> <p>The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and /or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.</p>

Family Systemic Psychotherapist

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>The Vincent Square Eating Disorder Service offers specialist services for children and young people who are suffering from eating disorders. The service provides a range of treatments across the existing outpatient service.</p>
<p>We currently have a permanent position for a band 7 Family Therapist to work in the Children and Young People's Eating Disorder Service.</p>
<p>The post holder will work alongside a team of family therapists, psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists and other disciplines.</p>
<p>The job will be split between our sites in South Kensington and Chelsea, and Harrow-on-the-Hill.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will provide specialist systemic interventions for child and adolescent eating disorders in the outpatient service, including Family Based Treatment (FBT) and Family Therapy for Anorexia Nervosa (FT-AN).</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>An exciting new part time permanent position has arisen within the Royal London Hospital NICU for an experienced psychotherapist.</p>
<p>The Unit consists of a multidisciplinary team of neonatologists, surgeons, junior doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, health care support workers and other members of the wider hospital team. The psychotherapist plays an integral role in providing psychological support to all NICU &amp; NTS staff, parents and occasionally other members of the families who use our service.</p>
<p>The Royal London neonatal service comprises a Neonatal Intensive Care L3 Tertiary Unit with 45 beds, caring for over 700 babies every year. We receive admissions of sick and premature babies from our maternity Delivery Suite , as well as other hospitals within our network for specialist medical and surgical intensive care. We care for some of the sickest babies with significant morbidity and mortality and the psychotherapist plays an important role in supporting the parents and families of these infants.</p>
<p>The Hospital hosts the Neonatal Transfer Service which has close ties with the NICU and rotation of staff occurs.</p>
<p>The Royal London Hospital serves a diverse community and equally consists of a large multi-disciplinary team with different backgrounds. It is therefore important that the post holder can demonstrate an ability to work with people from all backgrounds. Language and cultural barriers may need to be overcome with creative and empathic communication.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>1. To provide a high quality specialist psychotherapy service to the parents / carers of babies on the NICU and the NICU staff team</p> <p>2. To provide specialist consultation, assessment and treatment for parents / carers of babies on the NICU</p> <p>3. To provide specialist consultation, supervision, debriefing and psychological support to the NICU staff team</p> <p>4. To develop and support the psychotherapeutic skills of the NICU staff via teaching, supervision and reflective spaces, support and consultation.</p> <p>5. To provide a psychotherapeutic perspective / expertise for NICU activities, including clinical care, team or service dynamics, systems, as part of case discussions, team meetings and in other relevant settings</p>

  <p>We are pleased to be recruiting for a Clinical /Counselling Psychologist for a Band 7, 12 month Fixed Term post in the Tower Hamlets Psychological Therapies Service (PTS).</p> <p>PTS is a friendly and supportive team, highly committed to providing effective treatments to adults with complex difficulties, including depression, anxiety and trauma. We are looking for someone who can provide specialist assessments and individual and group interventions in line with their competencies. Experience of working in more than one modality including CBT, Psychodynamic, MBT, DBT, EMDR, CFT and the capacity to integrate models is welcome.</p> <p>Our service model aims to meet the needs of the local population through working closely with the locality neighbourhood teams, including the complex emotional needs and personality disorder services.</p> <p>The post holder will be working predominantly in person in the service, however, a small, remote working component may be accommodated.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To provide specialist assessments and interventions for clients referred to the psychological therapies service. The post holder will be expected to provide both individual therapy and co-facilitate group interventions, in line with their professional competencies. </p> <p>To work closely with the locality neighbourhood teams to further develop care pathways, the management of risk and facilitate the provision of psychological therapy and psychologically informed care to the local population we serve.</p> <p>To develop and support the psychosocial work of other staff through teaching, training, supervision and consultation. </p> <p>To provide specialist advice to NHS and voluntary sector agencies concerning the assessment, treatment and management of service users.</p> <p>Follow defined practices and procedures under the management and co-ordination of the Operational Lead. To work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice.</p> <p>Participate in CPD and other developmental activities, keeping up to date with relevant psychological research and national guidance (DoH, NICE etc).</p>

    <p>As a Principal Psychologist, you will join senior colleagues in delivering strong leadership in psychology provision in the team, as well as contributing to the Trust-wide development of our services. You will work principally with people with complex difficulties and their families, delivering recovery focussed interventions in the community. You will be expected to promote values that seek to support recovery in this client group and maximise the potential of individuals with the aim of reducing social exclusion, stigma and the potentially disabling effects of psychosis. As part of the Psychology team you will also be expected to support Clinical Psychology trainees, Clinical Associates in Psychology and other practitioners in their training and development. Research is also highly valued and we welcome people who support our research vision. </p> <p>It is essential that candidates have some pre or post qualification experience of working with people with psychosis; have a commitment to and interest in providing psychological interventions for psychosis as well as having good risk management skills. Experience of applying cognitive behavioural models to psychosis and recovery would be advantageous, and interests in ACT, Compassion Focused Therapy and EMDR would be welcome. </p> <p>You are required to hold a current professional registration with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist (clinical or counselling), and it would be advantageous to be BABCP accredited or have passed a BABCP accredited CBT training course. A recognised qualification, current training or commitment to undertake training in CBT for psychosis is highly desirable.
