  <p>We are seeking an experienced and innovative Principal Clinical Psychologist to join our Community Mental Health Team in South Warwickshire. This is a key clinical leadership role, supporting the development and delivery of high-quality, evidence-based psychological care for adults experiencing a range of complex mental health difficulties such as trauma, mood disorders and co-morbid physical and mental health problems.</p> <p>You will provide clinical leadership, supervision, and consultation to psychological professionals and other multidisciplinary colleagues, alongside offering a highly specialist psychological therapies service to service users.   <p>We are seeking to recruit a full-time Band 8B Principal Applied Psychologist in Adult Community Mental Health (Planned Care) at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHFT). You would join our community-based psychological therapies service for working age adults within secondary care services; you would work within our Community Mental Health Team in Walsall Northand potentially across the locality according to service need.</p>  <p>We are a combination of Practitioner Psychologists, CBT Therapists and DBT Therapists offering a range of group and individual therapies in line with recovery models of care and trauma-informed practice. Also suitable for 8a psychologists wanting to move from current post and develop skills in a CLDT. This multi-disciplinary, community service serves the Walsall area.</p> <p>Walsall CLDT is supportive, forward-thinking &amp; committed to improving patient care. It serves people with a learning disability experiencing significant mental health needs and/or displaying significant behavioural distress. It is part of a stepped care whole-pathway model linking with the IST, FCT, A&amp;T Inpatient services &amp; local Commissioning services.</p> <p>There are likely to be opportunities to work across the division, linking in to our community based services. You may on the rare occasion be asked to support one of those services should the need arise.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The team provides a full range of assessments, interventions, support, training and advice to individuals themselves, their families and paid carers and the network of multi-agency stakeholders who are involved in the care and support of people experiencing complex behavioural and/or emotional distress.</p>
<p>Guided by recovery principles, the team maintains close liaison and pathways with a range of existing and specialist mental health community teams, social support accommodation services and social care agencies across the Walsall area in order to ensure that people with a learning disability and mental health and/or behavioural distress needs are also well supported by the full range of services and opportunities that meet their whole life person centred needs and aspirations.</p>

  <p>The post-holder will be part of a team committed to MDT working with people with a learning disability. They will bring experience combining the best of evidence based clinical assessment &amp; formulation with integrative, client centred, therapeutic interventions.</p> <p>They will be skilled in both individual and group work adapted to match the different intellectual &amp; emotional abilities within the client group. They will have experience and skills to oversee the performance and development of existing psychological pathways, such as Trauma, PBS and Dementia.</p> <p>There are opportunities to develop new and existing group programmes. The post-holder support in training/supervising others, including practitioners &amp; trainees working within the team at different times.</p> <p>Psychologists throughout services across BCHFT have good links with the full range of Doctoral Psychology courses at the Universities of Birmingham, Coventry and Warwick and Wolverhampton.</p> <p>Key staff are closely involved with Research and Innovation.   <p>We have a exciting vacancy that has arisen for newly qualified or early career Clinical or Counselling Psychologist within our Integrated Community Care and Recovery (ICCR) Services working across two of our service areas with adults with mental health difficulties in the community. The post will be 0.5 with a vibrant community mental health team and 0.5 with the enhanced team for personality disorders, both located in the Solihull Hub . This is an ideal post to apply your full range of psychological skills and knowledge including consultation, training, supervision, service development, leadership and research in addition to direct clinical work.</p>
<p>We are looking for a suitably experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologists (or equivalent applied Psychological Practitioners). Based on experience, this post can either be offered at a Band 8a or a Band 7/ 8a Preceptorship arrangement. Applicants from final year trainees in a Preceptorship arrangement are welcome.</p>
<p>It is a stimulating time in the service as the post-holders will be part of multi-professional teams supporting the Transformation of our Community Services in BSMHFT as part of the NHS Long Term Plan.</p>

  <p>To provide a highly specialist clinical psychology service to children and young people who are in the care system and their care givers, with complex and severe mental health problems. We are looking for a clinical/counselling psychologist who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of people experiencing psychosis. </p> <p>Our Community Mental Health teams are multi-disciplinary and support adults in the community who experience significant mental health problems including those with ongoing difficulties as a result of psychosis. Compassionate care is at the heart of what we do, and the contribution of psychology and provision of psychological interventions is highly valued.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This is a truly exciting time as we change what we do and how we deliver community mental health services. This newly integrated CMH team is developing a pathway for people with psychosis and an enhanced pathway for people with psychosis where meaningful engagement can be a challenge. You will work closely with senior colleagues across our teams and localities on team and service development whilst providing psychological interventions to people with greatest complexity. </p> <p>We want you to feel supported within your role and we are keen see our psychologists flourish and develop with training in Family Interventions (BFT), CBT for Psychosis (CBTp) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for example. We also have access to the Bespoke training platform and an excellent psychological skills development team.</p>
