Priory Hospital Woodbourne are looking for a Registered Psychologist to join the team. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week.

While your role doesnt involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Job responsibilities
As a core member of both the Therapy Team and MDT, you will:
- Provide comprehensive psychological assessments, formulations, and reports.
- Deliver evidence-based individual and group interventions (e.g., CBT, DBT-informed, ACT, Schema Therapy).
- Contribute to care planning and risk management through collaborative MDT discussions.
- Offer clinical guidance to nursing, occupational therapy, and medical colleagues to promote a psychologically-informed environment.
- Facilitate reflective practice sessions, staff training, and contribute to service development. Work closely with psychiatrists, nurses, dietitians, and other professionals to ensure holistic care for patients with complex needs

- We are seeking an HCPC Registered Psychologist (Clinical or Counselling) with experience working in inpatient mental health settings, ideally with exposure to acute services and/or eating disorder care. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong skills in assessment, formulation, and the delivery of evidence-based interventions. Experience or training in specialist approaches for eating disorderssuch as MANTRA, CBT-E, DBT, or FBTand the ability to apply these within multidisciplinary inpatient or community settings would be highly desirable. The role requires excellent collaboration skills, the resilience to thrive in challenging situations, and a commitment to reflective practice, supervision, and ongoing professional development.
