This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality genetic counselling for patients and families across the NE Thames region.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>You will:</p> <p> Provide expert genetic counselling for individuals and families referred to the service, across cancer, rare disease and prenatal genetics, delivered through virtual clinics or face-to-face appointments across the region.   <p>We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or CBT Therapist to join our dynamic Diabetes Psychology Team (30 hours per week).</p> <p>If you are an enthusiastic and motivated clinician with experience in working with people with diabetes or Long-Term Conditions (LTC), and you are passionate about delivering evidence-based psychological interventions and service development, we encourage you to apply.</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity to develop advanced clinical skills within a multidisciplinary team and be involved in a key service development project. This includes identifying and working with patients who struggle to attend appointments, as well as providing one-to-one and group-based support for individuals struggling with diabetes related distress.
