  <p>An opportunity has arisen for a band 4 Generic Therapy Technical Instructor to work within Ty Croes Atti Discharge to Recover and Assess Unit (D2RA). Ty Croes Atti aims to provide a 24 hour approach to rehab, promoting independence and assessing a service user's care and rehab needs with the ultimate goal of returning home.</p>
<p>We are looking for a motivated, hard-working, proactive individual who will be able to work alongside Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, other TIs and Support Workers. The role sits within the Flintshire Unscheduled Care Team where we value the importance of continuing professional development and Peer support. The successful candidate will be supported with supervision, appraisals and identifying learning opportunities and training.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul>
<li>Gathering of baseline information to assist the Therapy Assessments.</li>
<li>Carry out therapeutic interventions following initial assessments carried out by the Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist.</li>
<li>Interventions will include progression of transfers and mobility, delivery of exercise programmes including exercise classes and practicing activities of daily living such as washing and dressing and meal preparation.</li>
<li>As a Band 4 TI you will also work independently to promote wellbeing, safety and independence within essential activities of daily living, by providing instruction, advice and treatment to the service-user and/or their carers.</li>
</ul>

  <p>We are seeking a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist who is passionate about Neurorehabilitation (NR) for a 12 month fixed term contract or secondment. Applicants with relevant clinical experience seeking opportunity of a more senior role may also be considered. The post holder will gain excellent clinical expertise and leadership skills across the neuro rehab pathway working with our specialist teams and support patients accessing the Level 1 units in Salford, and Level 2 unit in Rochdale (Floyd Unit). Site base will be dependent on skills and experience of successful applicant.</p> <p>Applicants must have established skills in management of dysphagia, acquired communication disorders, and experience of working with patients with tracheostomy. Complex neuro presentations include patients on the 'Prolonged Disorder of Consciousness' (PDOC) spectrum and 'Cognitive Communication Disorder' (CCD). </p> <p>You will be joining a dynamic and friendly MDT and will also be part of the larger Neuro Rehab SLT service. We are a team that pursues innovation, and support CPD and research opportunities. Examples of previous pilots and collaborations include Phagenyx, Music therapy, collaboration with Ace Centre and the ongoing Facial Rehab Pathway Project work with the 'Greater Manchester Neurorehabilitation and Integrated Stroke Delivery Network' (GMNISDN). </p> <p>Informal visits and enquiries are welcome. </p>

  <p>To join our Neurorehabilitation service on a Fixed Term/secondment basis and support the limited band 7 rotation covering our Level 1 units at Salford (C2 and L1) and Level 2 unit (Floyd Unit) in Rochdale. Site base will be dependent on skills and experience of successful applicant.</p> <p>-To provide highly specialist evidenced based input to the provision and development of Speech and Language Therapy in NR.</p> <p>- To lead on and coordinate management of complex communication disorders within this caseload, including patients with; tracheostomy, 'prolonged disorders of consciousness' (PDOC), 'locked in syndrome' and 'cognitive communication disorder'. </p> <p>-To lead on and coordinate management of complex dysphagia within this caseload, including patients with tracheostomy.</p> <p>- ependent on existing skills you may have opportunity to join the Salford VFS and FEES rota and will be required to support the mobile FEES service for INRU within MCCN.</p> <p>-You will support the Senior management team with service development projects for Neurorehabilitation and in line with the Greater Manchester transformation project.   <p>As an Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor, you will contribute to a programme of structured, therapeutic, and recovery-focused interventions within a secure forensic mental health inpatient setting. Under the guidance of qualified Occupational Therapists, you will use music-based activities to foster creativity and self-expression, support the development of functional, cognitive, social, and emotional skills, and help service users build confidence.   <p>The Hellingly Centre is a modern purpose built medium secure unit specialising in the assessment and treatment of people with complex and enduring mental health needs, who have had contact with the criminal justice system.</p> <p>There are 4 specialist wards (2 male medium secure wards - Oak and Ash, 1 female medium secure ward - Blossom and 1 male low secure ward - Elm), each with a strong multi-disciplinary team.</p> <p>We have a range of therapy facilities within the centre including: a gym, shop, music, woodwork and art rooms and Badger's Caf and allotment space on-site.</p> <p>The centre is situated within the beautiful Hellingly Country Park and the Cuckoo Trail is also very close by. The local town, Hailsham is under 10 minutes away by car. There is a direct bus link to Eastbourne.</p> <p>There is a small gym on-site which is available for staff to use. <p>Due to significant business growth PAM Physio Solutions are looking to employ the skills of an enthusiastic and experienced occupational health occupational therapist to provide specialised workplace needs assessments and provide the opportunity to enhance their skills working for a large occupational health provider. They will be based and cover assessments in the South region as part of a nationwide team</p><p>We are looking for an&nbsp;<strong>Occupational Therapist</strong>&nbsp;who is passionate about the assessment of individuals with acute, chronic and complex health presentations to support their return to work or keep them in work.
