 This is an exciting
opportunity to for an Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor to join the
team at the new Regional Learning Disability and Autism Unit in Dawlish from
mid-2025 (The Brook). The new regional service based in Dawlish
will offer inpatient support to both adults with a learning disability and
autistic adults. The building and environment will be state of the art and the
service aims to become a centre of excellence.Our work is integral
to the evidence based care pathways, contributing to the formulation and
planning of Positive Proactive Support Plans, Reducing Restrictive Practice, stopping
over medication of people with a learning disability (STOMP), trauma informed
care and much more. We have a strong role in supporting the development of
capable environments around the needs of our client group. Our core business as
an Occupational Therapy team is assessment and intervention to promote
engagement in meaningful occupations to maximise health and wellbeing.We have excellent clinical leadership and
supervision structures; hold regular Occupational Therapy meetings which
include linking in with the wider trust AHPs, and encourage regular CPD and learning
opportunities to develop skills across a variety of areas.Interview dates are planned for 19th August &amp; also 21st August 2025 if an additional day is required.

 We are looking for
an imaginative, creative and enthusiastic Occupational Therapy Technical
Instructor to work with people with learning disabilities and autistic adults
displaying distressed behaviour who have complex needs. The post holder will
focus on supporting assessment and providing Occupational Therapy interventions,
under the guidance and supervision of the Occupational Therapist, that improve
peoples wellbeing and quality of life by promoting engagement in meaningful activity
and inclusion in their community.The post holder
will pro-actively work alongside the Occupational Therapist, within the multi-disciplinary
team contributing to care planning, risk management and the planning and
organisation of daily activities on the ward.
The post holder will participate in the internal rotation system
including weekend working and will receive the paid enhancements associated
with this.The post holder
will be encouraged to be innovative and motivated in contributing to the development

			An experienced and motivated Associate Specialist is required to join an exciting new CAMHS Inpatient Service.&nbsp; The service will have 12 beds for young people between the ages of 12-18 years.&nbsp; Emerald Place is a purpose build Unit situated in Charlwood, Surrey,
&nbsp; 

The associate specialist/speciality doctor will provide clinical assessment, review and evaluation to young people under the care and treatment of the hospital ensuring that all treatment plans are fully adhered to. The doctor will take a specific focus on the assessment and management of both the physical and mental health of young people working closely with the ward manager, consultant and wider MDT.

Our Associate Specialist role involves:
 
•	Daily clinical assessment and monitoring of all young people

•	Documentation preparing for CPA’s, tribunals and ward rounds.

Barnet Lane clinic is a rehabilitation service for women where you will work&nbsp;closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that clients receive a holistic and person-centric care and treatment programme based on the recovery model.
You will be key in supporting clinical governance and service delivery across the site. Additionally, you’ll play a crucial role in providing medical management for the dedicated doctors working in at Barnet Lane Clinic. You will be based on the acute ward but will support in the rehab ward when needed.
