<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>The post holder will be a care coordinator, assessing and treating children and young people in the team working in collaboration with the multiple disciplinary teams (MDT). The post holder will also be involved in supporting and advising parents and carers of C&amp;YP referred to the service as well as offering consultation and advice to their professional networks. The post holder may be expected to offer supervision to junior colleagues.</p>

  <p>We are proud to be developing new roles for Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioners to join our experienced workforce in Hertfordshire.</p>
<p>The post holder will have a desire to develop their skills in working with adults with severe and enduring mental illness, some of whom will have not had previous access to psychologically informed interventions.</p>
<p>The post-holder will work collaboratively with service users, their families, carers, and multi-disciplinary team members to provide assessment, care planning and coordination of care, supporting collaborative decision-making about care and treatment.</p>
<p>The post holder will support the delivery of a set of wellbeing-focused psychologically informed interventions, aligned to cognitive-behavioural principles, based on the best evidence available, that address problems often experienced by people with severe mental health problems under the supervision of a clinical/counselling psychologist or CBT therapist, where this is identified in personalised care planning and support.</p>

  <p><strong>Band 8a Practitioner Psychologist in Pain Management</strong>   This is an exciting opportunity to join the Enfield Pain Service (EPS) which serves patients who have a long-term pain condition e.g. chronic lower back pain, chronic widespread pain, fibromyalgia. The EPS is staffed by a supportive team of medical, physiotherapy and psychology professionals as we acknowledge that pain impacts a person's life in lots of different ways.   You'll be working under the supervision of a Consultant Clinical Psychologist to deliver psychological assessment and intervention (1:1 and group pain management programmes based on CBT/ACT/CFT) for this cohort of patients. You'll also be supporting the wider multidisciplinary team and liaising with relevant external community services e.g. Talking Therapies, MSK services, community mental health teams. As one of the senior clinicians in the service, you'll be managing and supervising other members of the EPS, leading on aspects of service delivery, evaluation and innovation, and taking on managerial duties to ensure the effective running of the service. Previous experience of working in Pain and/or Long-term Health Conditions is essential. Having additional training and experience in EMDR and PTSD would be advantageous.  Working in pain services can be incredibly rewarding, where psychology is highly valued, and you will develop your skills and experiences of working as a senior clinician and manager in a supportive team.</p>

Our Southend, Essex and Thurrock services cover 144 schools currently. We currently cover 48% of secondary and primary school within those areas.</p> <p>The MHST deliver evidence-based individual and group interventions in educational settings for children experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties aged 4 to 18 years old. The teams also have a strong focus on whole school approaches to improve mental health outcomes for children and young people.</p> <p>The MHSTs build on the support already in place from school counsellors, nurses, educational psychologists and the voluntary sector to support those with mild to moderate mental health issues in school and will help children and young people with more severe needs to access the right support and provide a link to the CAMHS services.</p>

  <p>We are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic and friendly interdisciplinary Therapy Team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust as a Band 7 team lead in the Medical team.</p>

  <p>Main duties of the job</p> <p>This post holder will have their own caseload of complex medical inpatients. They will provide clinical and managerial support to the therapy team working in specialty areas across cardiology, respiratory medicine and infectious diseases, including HIV and patients presenting with rare and complex neurological presentations. Part of this role is to provide expert input to improve patient outcomes, facilitate discharge planning and provide supervision to the band 5 OT, students and Therapy Assistants. They will receive regular supervision and peer support as well as have opportunities for study, leadership and in-house training.</p> <p>Desirable</p> <ul>  <li>Experience of working with neurological patients</li> </ul> <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and experienced Occupational Therapist who has significant experience of working with people with a variety of medical conditions. They should have the ability to work well in a team and to plan and run a project.</p>
