Mental Health Support Worker, SEMH School

Purpose: Providing clinical psychology and neuropsychology input within the neurobehavioral model to service users with acquired brain injury. Key Responsibilities: <ul> <li> Conduct comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessments using a range of tools and methods. </li> <li> Formulate and deliver evidence-based interventions to support neurorehabilitation and recovery. </li> <li> Coordinate care as keyworker/clinical lead and set SMART goals collaboratively with service users and the team. </li> <li> Provide individual, family, and group therapy using varied psychological models. </li> <li> Contribute specialist advice to multidisciplinary formulations and care plans. </li> <li> Undertake risk assessment and management from a psychological perspective. </li> <li> Maintain high standards of clinical record keeping and data reporting. </li> <li> Offer psychological support and guidance to families and carers. </li> <li> Participate in on-call support as part of a rota. </li> <li> Engage in audits, service development, and research to promote evidence-based practice. </li> <li> Stay updated on developments in clinical and neuropsychological practice, particularly in neurorehabilitation. </li> </ul>
