  <p><strong>Band 7 Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist</strong></p> <p>The post holder will provide specialist psychoanalytic child psychotherapy assessment and treatment to children, young people and their families and carers across clinical pathways within CAMHS.   <p>This is a truly exciting time as we change what we do and how we deliver community mental health services. This newly integrated CMH team is developing a pathway for people with psychosis and an enhanced pathway for people with psychosis where meaningful engagement can be a challenge. You will work closely with senior colleagues across our teams and localities on team and service development whilst providing psychological interventions to people with greatest complexity. </p> <p>We want you to feel supported within your role and we are keen see our psychologists flourish and develop with training in Family Interventions (BFT), CBT for Psychosis (CBTp) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for example. We also have access to the Bespoke training platform and an excellent psychological skills development team.</p>

You will be joining a vibrant professional group of nine Family and Systemic Psychotherapists who work across a range of outpatient teams.</p><p>Systemic Supervision will be provided and in addition you will be able to join a family therapy clinic, working with another Family and Systemic Psychotherapist.</p><p>The team at The Beacon Unit currently consists of clinicians across a wide range of disciplines: Psychiatry, Psychology, Dietetics, Nursing, Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy. Systemic Psychotherapy has been a valued and integral part of the team for many years. </p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Staff work closely with CAMHS Specialist Teams, Outpatient, Inpatient and Adult services, while also having connections with the wider MDT within the community.</p><p>We offer early specialist assessment and intervention using evidence-based approaches to young people up to the age of 18 years old and their families.</p><p>We are especially keen to hear from candidates who reflects the diverse communities we serve.</p><p>Some of the duties you will undertake within this role include:</p><ul><li>To undertake detailed &amp; highly specialist psychological and systemic assessments of children and families.
