  <p>We are seeking a compassionate, reflective, and recovery-focused Assistant Psychologist to support the delivery of evidence-based psychological interventions for individuals on the Adult Acute Inpatient Wards at Wedgwood House, Bury St Edmunds.</p> <p>Preference will be given to candidates with a strong understanding of psychological models of therapy and recovery, particularly Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) approaches within inpatient settings. Confidence in facilitating therapeutic groups, alongside knowledge and skills in collaboratively developing and disseminating psychological formulations, are essential attributes for the successful post holder.</p> <p>The successful candidate will contribute to the team's work by providing psychological assessments, as well as individual and group interventions, under the supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist. There will also be opportunities to participate in audit, service evaluation, and research projects within the ward environment.   <p>We are looking to recruit a full-time Senior Clinical Psychologist (or equivalent) or a more recently qualified Clinical Psychologist seeking a preceptorship role to join the south in-patient service for older people within Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT). <h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>The Perinatal Mental Health Service has a highly skilled team of perinatal psychological therapists who are committed to providing evidence-based interventions to women, birthing people and their families that are accessible and acceptable to the diverse South London population. We are recruiting a b8a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist/CBT Therapist to work in Lambeth and across the Trust as required.</p>
<p>Our psychological workforce and the therapeutic modalities that we offer are a key part of delivering the ambitions of the NHS Long Term Plan. This post focuses primarily on delivery of perinatal psychological therapies for maternal mental health problems, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). There is a focus on coproduction, quality, supervision and ongoing audit and evaluation, keeping the experience of service users at the heart.</p>
<p>The successful applicant will join a friendly and supportive psychological therapies service that offers excellent opportunities for research and continuing professional development.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>We are looking for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist or Accredited Cognitive Behaviour Therapist to provide psychological assessment and intervention to women, birthing people and their families in the perinatal period, as well as contribute to the multi-disciplinary team.</p>
<p>We would like to hear from those who have experience delivering psychological therapies in secondary care or within a MDT setting, and are proficient in delivering NICE concordant interventions for depression, anxiety disorders, psychosis and bipolar affective disorder.</p>
<p>You will ideally have experience of working with women, birthing people and their families within the perinatal period and / or a keen interest to develop knowledge and skills in this area. Specialist perinatal supervision will be provided and you will join a friendly and supportive team of specialist perinatal psychologists and psychological therapists.</p>



  <h3>About us</h3>
  <p>Perinatal Mental Health Teams (PMHTs) are secondary care mental health teams that specialise in supporting women and birthing people in the perinatal period (pregnancy through until 12 months postnatal) who have severe and complex mental health difficulties.</p>
<p>We assess and treat a range of difficulties including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychosis, personality disorders and eating disorders. The service is designed to provide timely input to families to mitigate the impact of mental health disorder on the child.</p>
<p>We are a multi-disciplinary team including psychiatry, psychology, nursing, occupational therapy, and nursery nursing. The service works closely with maternity/obstetric services as well as other agencies (e.g., health visiting and social services). We have close links with the Mother-Baby Unit (MBU) in-patient unit at the Bethlem Royal Hospital.</p>

  <p>An opportunity has arisen for a <strong>Practitioner Psychologist/Specialist Psychological Therapist</strong> to join the <strong>Sussex Eating Disorder Service (</strong>SEDS<strong>)</strong>. We are a passionate multidisciplinary team delivering NICE recommended treatments aiming to provide the best possible care to adults living with eating disorders.</p> <p>Previous experience of working in an eating disorder service is desirable but not necessary, as we offer considerable in-house and external training opportunities (including CBT-T, CBT-E and MANTRA). The post will be supervised by a senior psychological therapist within the team.</p> <p>Covering the whole of Sussex, SEDS provides specialist eating disorder services across a large geographical area.There may be a requirement to travel across the area dependent on service demand.   <p>Key responsibilities of the role:</p> <ul>  <li>The post holder will provide specialist assessment and psychological therapy to adults with eating disorders in an outpatient setting</li>  <li>We are keen to foster individual interests or specialties relevant to eating disorders, that you would then 'champion' to the wider team. Examples of this might include working with specific co-morbidities (e.g., personality disorder or autistic spectrum disorder), working with the families or loved ones of people with eating disorders, or championing smooth transitions from CAMHS</li>  <li>Research is encouraged; you will be part of a team that values delivering evidence-base treatment and supports evidence-generating practice. We have established an innovative eating disorder research clinic (SPIRED). This clinic aims to improve the treatment and support available to people with eating disorders; bringing together the expertise and experience of clinicians and people with lived experience of eating disorders. </li> </ul>   <h3>About us</h3>
