  <p>We are pleased to invite applications to join the Training Team at National Imaging Academy Wales (NIAW). NIAW are looking for keen Sonographers Trainer to support the delivery of high-quality Radiology and Radiographic training.</p>
<p>The bank worker will work within the multidisciplinary NIAW team to deliver clinical ultrasound training, clinical supervision, undertake competency assessments and/or deliver simulation support at the NIAW. The bank worker will work with the team to support the delivery of the NIAW 3-year strategy.</p>
<p>NIAW is a state-of-the-art facility with a primary function of providing high quality training to the imaging workforce across Wales. The facility includes a 100-seat lecture theatre, two workstation classrooms, three ultrasound suites and ultrasound simulation room, all with dedicated state of the art, audio-visual equipment.</p>
<p>In addition to supporting training for a variety of professions, the Academy hosts corporate and CPD events, supports with the development of training courses for the Radiology workforce and acts as a natural hub for innovation and research within Radiology.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The bank worker will be a qualified and registered Radiographer or Sonographer with postgraduate training in ultrasound, demonstrating expert competence, autonomy, and up-to-date knowledge of ultrasound technology, anatomy, and clinical practice. They will undertake and interpret a range of ultrasound scans, provide high-quality reports, and offer professional advice to colleagues, trainees, and other healthcare professionals. A strong commitment to teaching, supervision, research, and continuing professional development is essential, as is the ability to contribute to the Academy's wider aims in education, innovation, and service development across NHS Wales. The role requires excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills, adherence to professional standards and governance, and responsibility for maintaining safe working practices and accurate records.</p>

The post is based at Chatterton House in Kings Lynn and serves the population of West Norfolk.   <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Band 7 Prosthetist to join the NHS prosthetic service based in Rookwood Hospital, Cardiff. This role involves delivering a high quality prosthetic service across both adult and paediatric caseloads including those with complex needs. The successful candidate will also provide a highly specialised service for war veterans, utilising advanced techniques and state of the art prosthetics.</p>
<p>The Prosthetic and Amputee Rehabilation Centre ( PARC) in Cardiff provides care and support for approximately 1700 users. The service provides individualised assessment, the issue, maintenance and repair of prosthetic devices and ongoing clinical patient care. The prosthetic team currently consists of 9 Prosthetists and 11 technical staff offering a clinical service to a large and varied caseload supported by a full multidisciplinary team. The multidisciplinary team consist of consultants, prosthetists, psychologists, physiotherapists, specialist nurses, occupational therapists, admin and technical support, all working together in a patient focussed service. The prosthetic clinical service is supported by onsite manufacture by a highly skilled technical workforce.</p>

  <p>Are you passionate about making a real impact in healthcare through compassionate, patient-centred care? We're seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) to develop the speech and language therapy provision with the adult acute mental health inpatient wards. This new role offers the opportunity to shape patient care, lead on establishing the role of SLT, influence policy, and promote the use of least restrictive practice, supporting people on our wards.</p>
<p>This newly funded positionwill form an integral part of the MDT team, led by the Head of AHPs, working alongside a therapy team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapy, Arts Therapists, Assistant Therapy Practitioners and Psychologists. The post holder will work across the two Assessment and Short term treatment wards, both based at Kingfisher court.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As part of the ward based team you will provide expert clinical guidance, especially for people with highly complex needs and those requiring specialist Speech and Language therapy assessments and interventions. You will be supported by the rest of the MDT, especially by the Occupational Therapists within the ward. The post holder will offer the core Speech and Language therapy assessments and interventions, as well as proving advice for the MDT on SLT treatment plans and outcomes of assessments. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of transforming our in-patient services across the Trust using person centred, recovery based, trauma informed care to provide the least restrictive interventions.</p>
<p>The role offers the opportunity to develop managerial and leadership skills whilst delivering specialist clinical interventions for people admitted to the adult acute mental health wards.   <p>An opportunity has arisen for a <strong>Practitioner Psychologist/Specialist Psychological Therapist</strong> to join the <strong>Sussex Eating Disorder Service (</strong>SEDS<strong>)</strong>. We are a passionate multidisciplinary team delivering NICE recommended treatments aiming to provide the best possible care to adults living with eating disorders.</p> <p>Previous experience of working in an eating disorder service is desirable but not necessary, as we offer considerable in-house and external training opportunities (including CBT-T, CBT-E and MANTRA). The post will be supervised by a senior psychological therapist within the team.</p> <p>Covering the whole of Sussex, SEDS provides specialist eating disorder services across a large geographical area.There may be a requirement to travel across the area dependent on service demand.
