<p><strong>Primary Care &amp; Mental Health099813£39,906 - £46,049 pa14-Oct-2025 23:30</strong></p><p>The Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at the University of Liverpool is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Research Associate in clinical forensic psychology to work on a project supported by funds from the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). The project aims to examine emotion processing and emotion regulation in people with convictions for sexual and violent offences. The project will take a multi-method approach using methods in experimental psychology and psychophysiology.&nbsp;</p><p>You will play a key role in designing experimental paradigms for the collection of behavioural and pupillometry data. The ideal candidate will have experience of experiment design in EyeLink, and/or collecting eye tracking and pupillometry data. <p>We are looking for skilled practitioners, with mental health experience, who can provide low intensity evidenced based CBT interventions, manage risk and are passionate about young person-centred practice.</p>

  <p>The Senior Mental Health Practitioner will be an integral part of the MHST in Bolton.</p>

You will provide support, advice and consultation to families/carers and other professionals in the life of the child/young person. You will work closely with education professionals to foster a whole school/college approach to mental well-being.</p>

  <p>A great opportunity has arisen for a full time Band 3 Support Time and Recovery Worker to join our team in the Acute Therapy Service (ATS) based at Bridge House in Blackburn. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and reliable worker to support us to continue delivering a psychologically led service that provides an alternative to inpatient admissions and also facilitates early discharge from the inpatient units.</p>
<p>The aim of the ATS service is to provide brief structured psychological input, practical, occupational and social support and respite in a safe and containing environment.</p>
<p>The successful post holder will have experience of working in Mental Health Services and the duties will include:</p>
<p>Direct involvement with service users; you will help to provide and facilitate a therapeutic responsive service for adults with mental health difficulties. This will involve supporting service users to implement coping strategies learned in the ATS service. You will also co-facilitate and deliver groups.</p>

<p>Cygnet Bury Forestwood offers CAMHS Tier 4 PICU, General Acute and Low Secure services across four wards which provide a defined treatment pathway from admission through to intervention and discharge including rapid assessment and treatment.</p>

<p><strong>Your Day-to-Day</strong></p>

<ul>
 <li>Work as a team Psychologist within a multidisciplinary team (MDT)</li>
 <li>Carry out psychological assessments &amp; provide therapy to individuals &amp; groups</li>
 <li>Collaboratively develop care plans with the MDT</li>
 <li>Provide training &amp; supervision to colleagues, &amp; consultation to teams</li>
 <li>Evaluate the service, contribute to its development &amp; carry out clinical research</li>
 <li>Disseminate outcomes via conference presentations and publications.</li>
</ul>
