  <p>As a Clinical Perfusion Scientist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring the safe and effective management of patients' physiological functions. You will be expected to deliver within the framework of a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with various healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.</p>  <p>The candidate will provide Clinical Perfusion and specialist services as part of a team and must be fully registered with the College of Clinical Perfusion Scientists GB&amp;I.</p>  <p>Perform a range of highly specialist Perfusion science activities relating to cardiopulmonary bypass with special reference to clinical, technical and scientific aspects.</p> <p>Perform a wide range of complex blood coagulation assays and draw upon expert knowledge to interpret and report results to a wide scope of staff including Cardiologists, Cardiac Surgeons, Nursing staff, Physiology Technicians and ODPS.</p> <p>Capable of maintaining intense concentration for extended periods during routine and specialist perfusion techniques, especially while monitoring complex data during cardiopulmonary bypass.</p> <p>Actively adapts to the dynamic clinical environment, including unpredictable workloads, emergency procedures, deadlines, and critical situations.</p> <p>The successful candidate will fully participate in the department's on-call rota, ensuring the smooth operation of a 24-hour service.</p>

  <p>We have an exciting opportunity for CISWs to assist with the running a state of the art CT scanner installed on a expandable trailer to support the CDC service across the Humber and North Yorkshire Healthcare Partnership region. We currently have two mobile CT scanners</p>
<p>This service will rotate around the region providing a Mobile service to supplement the CT services in York &amp; Scarborough Trust, North Lincolnshire and Goole Trust and Hull University Teaching Hospitals Trust delivering CT capacity at non-acute sites. Exact locations currently include East Riding Community Hospital, Hull CDC Hub, Askham Bar York and Selby Hospital, but other sites are possible across the region.</p>
<p>You will be expected to travel to several locations across the region on a rotational basis. Preferably working 3 long days (subject to site and demand) you will be supported with travel expenses and accommodation when necessary.</p>
<p>You will be an NHS employee, your host Trust will be HUTH however you will be employed to provide a service to the HNY.</p>
<p>In the future your role may include responsibilities at any sites across the HNY and there may be a potential for out of hours responsibilities.</p>

You will provide psychological and neuropsychological assessments, develop collaborative formulations, and deliver evidence-based interventions within a multidisciplinary team. The role includes setting and reviewing SMART goals with service users, offering individual, family, and group therapies, contributing to team formulations and risk management, and supporting families and carers.
