  <p></p><p>Within the Cardiac Cath Labs we have 2 dedicated interventional PCI labs, 1 electrophysiology/devices lab, 1 structural/devices lab, and 1 diagnostic angiography/devices lab. The Hybrid Theatre is dedicated to our Vascular team, and we also provide a mobile II service for some Vascular cases.</p>
<p>Within Interventional Radiology we have a state-of-the-art Siemens IR suite, and a new Fluoroscopy room.</p>

  <p></p><p>An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for a permanent full-time band 6 Occupational Therapist within the Integrated Independence Team (Rapid Response Team).</p> <p>We are looking for an innovative, enthusiastic and experienced Occupational Therapist to be part of the Emergency department and community rapid response service within the Integrated Independence Team. This will be offered as permanent and full-time for an existing band 6 therapist or experienced band 5 therapist.</p> <p>The Integrated Independence Team is an integrated health and social care service provided jointly by Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and London Borough of Hackney. The team places the user at the heart of the care planning process, and aims to promote independence, deliver outcome focused care, and provide a seamless journey through the care system.</p> <p>The team provides rapid response, intermediate care therapy and reablement services and consists of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychotherapists, Nurses, Speech and Language Therapists, Consultant Geriatricians, Social Workers, OT Technician, Care Support Coordinators, Care Support Workers, Therapy Assistants and Administration staff. The team will use integrated support planning to address health and social care needs across the pathway in a responsive, dynamic and flexible way.</p> <p>Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (part time, flexible working or compressed hours will be considered).</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p></p><p>We are looking for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to provide a rapid response, senior Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment of complex patients within Emergency department, short stay unit and patients referred from the community in order to prevent admission to hospital and promote early discharge.</p> <p>In doing this you will work as part of a strong multidisciplinary team, within an interdisciplinary working model, to facilitate hospital discharge and prevent acute admission.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will have strong experience as an Occupational Therapist in an Acute Therapy or Rapid Response setting. You should have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, prioritisation and problem-solving skills.</p> <p>You will be encouraged to develop your clinical, teaching and management skills through opportunities within the team and in the wider organisation. You will have support from a Clinical Specialist Lead and experienced staff across the team. Peer supervision and in service training are carried out on a regular basis and you will have an annual appraisal.</p> <p>There is excellent support for personal development and opportunities to develop the service in line with best practice. You will have the opportunity to support and supervise junior staff within the service, and to support service development and projects with the team.</p>

  <p></p><p>Oxleas are seeking to recruit to a highly motivated, Band 8a clinical/counselling psychologist or CBT therapist to join our Greenwich team as Maternity Cover.It is an exciting time to join the team as it is a burgeoning and innovative field for perinatal psychology. Our Perinatal team offers a unique opportunity to develop skills in both adult mental health and also to develop skills in parent infant and family work. It is an ideal opportunity for psychologist with an interest in attachment, developmental psychology, infant mental health and working with family systems.</p> <p>The trust wide service is based at Queen Mary's hospital and consists of a multidisciplinary team of professionals including consultant psychiatrists, specialist perinatal nurses, clinical psychologists, CBT therapists, nursery nurses and OTs. We offer a community service for pregnant and postnatal women with severe and complex mental health difficulties. The team has close links with other services, including IAPT, secondary care mental health teams and maternity as well as third sector organisations. We work collaboratively with other services (eg maternity service and health visiting) and with experts by experience to continue to provide high quality care and are committed to ensure excellent outcomes for women and their families.</p>

<p>The main clinical work undertaken is to provide specialist psychological assessment and intervention for mothers and their babies and families in the community. The post holder will also offer clinical supervision to more junior staff and trainees.</p>
<p>The post holder will be involved in delivering evidence-based individual and group-based interventions. The psychological therapies team include clinical and counselling psychologists, as well as CBT therapists. The successful applicant will be part of a friendly and supportive team. There is an established reflective practice space for the whole team as well as regular individual supervision provided by the senior psychologist. Opportunities to develop supervision skills are consistently available and Oxleas has a longstanding relationship with clinical and counselling doctorate programs in taking trainees and developing the wider workforce.</p>

  <p></p><p><strong>An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic therapy team. We are looking for a part time position (3 days a week) for a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant within our Adult SLT Service. We work with patients in their own homes, in clinics at inpatient neuro-rehabilitation and in Lister Hospital.</strong></p>
<p>The post-holder will need to be organised, enthusiastic, a good communicator and will have previous experience in a rehabilitation or care delivery setting. You will be assisting in the rehabilitation of patients with a wide range of neurological needs (including physical, communication and cognitive) which may include both individual sessions and group work. You will be working closely with the Speech and Language Therapists and a wider MDT including the medical team, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and Nurses.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p></p><p>The post-holder will be responsible for supporting Speech and Language Therapists with the assessment and management of adults with acquired communication, speech, language or eating and drinking disorders.</p>
<p>You will carry out therapy plans with patients who may have a range of diagnoses including stroke, Parkinson's, dementia, Motor Neuron disease and other progressive neurological conditions. You will need to build excellent rapport with patients and providing them with a high level of care.</p>
<p>You will need to be able to keep accurate clinical records and have good clerical/ administrative skills.</p>
<p>You will support the team with resource building, such as low tech augmentative and alternative communication aids (AAC).</p>
<p>You will help to run communication groups alongside other SLTAs.</p>
<p>The Speech and Language Therapy Service in East &amp; North Hertfordshire is an integrated acute and community service covering community clinics, inpatient Neurological Rehabilitation and the Acute and Stroke teams based at the Lister Hospital. There are frequent opportunities for gaining skills in other areas and career progression.</p>
