  <p>An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 6 Practitioner, to join our award winning ongoing developing CCETTS Team based in Lincoln.</p> <p>Our service covers areas across North of Lincolnshire so having a means to travel is essential.</p> <p>We are looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated individuals to join our award-winning team. You will be providing crisis and enhanced home treatment for young people struggling with acute deteriorating mental health difficulties, including self-harm, suicidal ideation, eating disorders/ disordered eating and psychosis. Our team looks at providing an alternative to a tier 4 admission and supporting those being discharged from an acute inpatient admission following an episode of care.</p> <p>The role will include providing Crisis Assessments, 1:1 therapeutic intervention; utilising DBT and CBT skills, providing Emotional First Aid group work, and psycho- education with parents and Carers.</p> <p>You will work closely with our CAMHs Mental Health Liaison service.</p> <p>You will be expected to work a shift pattern on a Rota basis covering 7 days per week: 08:45-19:00hrs.</p>

  <p>To provide a high standard of community clinical care, ensuring safe and effective assessment, treatment and comprehensive discharge planning using highly developed clinical reasoning skills and appropriate assessment tools</p> <p>Provide rapid response to children/young people presenting with urgent and emergency mental health presentations over a 24/7 rota.</p> <p>Work as part of a team managing referrals for assessment and intensive community treatmentfor young people experiencing a mental health crisis or at risk of hospital admission.</p> <p>Act as bed co-ordinators for out-of-county placements.</p> <p>Support the Access Assessment of new referrals for in-patient beds.</p> <p>Act as lead professional for complex cases within the team.</p> <p>Engage with young people to provide mental health and risk assessment, risk management plans, and taking appropriate therapeutic risk for young people following crisis.</p> <p>Provide full assessment and collaborative care planning for implementation by the multi-disciplinary team, in partnership with young people/carers and other workers involved in care delivery.</p> <p>Work in accordance with relevant childcare, health legislation and professional standards in partnership with wider children's services and to engage fully with Safeguarding, Common Assessment Framework and other processes which requires working together with other agencies.</p>

NWIS is a fantastic place to work, providing opportunities to develop both clinical and leadership skills--skills that may be harder to gain in other roles due to the fast-paced and high-acuity nature of our service.</p> <p><strong>NOTE:</strong> This post is open to newly qualified social workers. In line with AWP Trust policy, all newly qualified social workers (NQSWs) will be recruited initially at Band 5 level, regardless of the advertised role banding.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The Band 6 clinician will work shifts including evenings and weekends, but we are pleased to confirm that night shifts are no longer required. Our service now operates between 07:30 and 22:00, and we support flexible working arrangements, including the ability to request specific shifts. We work closely with the Adolescent teams and borough based clinical teams across the three boroughs, as well as with tier 4 (inpatient services) which are provided by the South London Partnership. The crisis team is multidisciplinary, and is supported by a team manager, consultant nurse, operational manager and a full time Consultant Psychiatrist.</p> <p>The pathway is made up of the Crisis Team, DBT Team and the Intensive Home Treatment Team.</p>

  <p>We are recruiting for a Band 6 Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) as our YJS Senior Mental Health Practitioner.</p><p>The Youth Justice Service (YJS) is a multi-disciplinary team which works with children and young people aged 10 -17 years old who have offended and are made subject to a range of community and custodial disposals.</p><p>The YJS Senior Mental Health Practitioner will support children and young people by providing time-limited interventions, who are known to the YJS and are experiencing mental health and wellbeing difficulties, as part of an overall plan to reduce their risk of re-offending, harm to others and vulnerability.</p><p>This may include signposting or liaison with other service providers, and establishing exit strategies (via onward referral) to ensure ongoing support is available where it is deemed necessary. YJS Senior Mental Health Practitioner

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>The Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) were established in Nottingham City in February 2020, providing an early intervention and preventative service for over 892 children and young people and their families so far. This includes providing support for anxiety, low mood and behavioural difficulties, as well as running workshops to groups of children within educational settings, on themes such as transition, resilience and wellbeing, general wellbeing hacks, worry and distractions and emotions through puberty.</p><p>Currently MHST are supporting children and young people in over 70 educational settings, which will increase over the next 18 months to around 100 sites across the city. The expansion is being funded through £1.01m from NHS England and Health Education England as part of a national initiative.</p><p>We work in partnership with the school community and other wellbeing services to develop a whole school approach to mental health and wellbeing, building on what is being done already.
