<li>You will have completed the one-year EMHP Postgraduate Diploma</li>
<li>You will hold professional registration with either the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) or the British Psychological Society (BPS).</li>

<p>The post holder will be expected to complete the requirements of the 2-year Senior Wellbeing Practitioner Post Graduate Diploma at Kings College London to enable progression to a fully qualified Senior Wellbeing Practitioner. </p>
<p>The KCL CYP MH Low Intensity Advanced Practice PGDip Course (for Senior Wellbeing Practitioners) start date is Monday 26th January 2026.</p>

  <p>Lewisham MHST is a growing service designed to help meet the mental health needs of CYP in education settings.   <p>This is an exciting opportunity to work within a newly commissioned pan-London Men's Mental Health Treatment Requirement (MHTR) service to reduce custodial sentences and improve the wellbeing of men in the criminal justice system with mental health needs. Mental Health Treatment Requirements (MHTRs) were introduced by the Criminal Justice Act in 2003, recognising that for many individuals who offend, mental health and substance misuse issues underpin their offending behaviour. Treatment requirements offer courts an alternative to short custodial sentences and aim to prevent reoffending by addressing underlying vulnerabilities and improving quality of life. This service aims to increase the use of primary care treatment requirements as part of a community sentence, offering psychologically informed interventions and advice. The MHTR Service will also provide the courts with information and confidence to sentence to robust and effective treatment requirements.</p> <p>North London Forensic Collaborative is the largest forensic Provider Collaborative in England and is a partnership between forensic services within five NHS Trusts including: North London NHS Foundation Trust - Lead Provider; Central North West London NHS Foundation Trust; East London NHS Foundation Trust; North East London NHS Foundation Trust and West London NHS Trust.</p>

  <p>We are pleased to be recruiting to a trauma specialist 8a psychological therapist post (0.8 wte) to work within our multi-modality therapy team in secondary care for adults with moderate-severe mood, anxiety and personality disorders. The post holder will be an experienced clinician for service users with PTSD and complex PTSD offering trauma-focussed CBT (may additionally be experienced in EMDR), also with significant experience using CBT for adults with moderate to severe mood and anxiety disorders. The post holder will have experience of line managing and supervising junior psychologists trainees, as well as offering consultation and link-working with colleagues.</p>

  <p>The successful applicant will demonstrate experience and skill in working with PTSD and cPTSD with adults in secondary care with moderate-severe presentations, using trauma-focussed CBT, as well as other mood and anxiety disorders. The role requires supervision and line management of more junior psychologists and trainees. The post holder will contribute to service audits and development projects, and consultation within the team and to other professionals.</p>

There are line management and supervisory responsibilities, as well as link-working with CMHTs to provide consultation, teaching, co-working. The team is based in central Croydon (Jeanette Wallace House) and face-to-face sessions are provided at this base and at other Croydon sites.   <p>This is an exciting opportunity to work within a newly commissioned pan-London Men's Mental Health Treatment Requirement (MHTR) service to reduce custodial sentences and improve the wellbeing of men in the criminal justice system with mental health needs. Mental Health Treatment Requirements (MHTRs) were introduced by the Criminal Justice Act in 2003, recognising that for many individuals who offend, mental health and substance misuse issues underpin their offending behaviour. Treatment requirements offer courts an alternative to short custodial sentences and aim to prevent reoffending by addressing underlying vulnerabilities and improving quality of life. This service aims to increase the use of primary care treatment requirements as part of a community sentence, offering psychologically informed interventions and advice. The MHTR Service will also provide the courts with information and confidence to sentence to robust and effective treatment requirements. Oxleas are recruiting 2.0 WTE B7 posts to work across South London, on behalf of the South London Partnership (SLP); a forensic provider collaborative which partners forensic services across three NHS Trusts, including Oxleas, South London and Maudsley and South West London and St George's NHS Foundation Trusts.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>These posts will be responsible for assessing for suitability and making recommendations for MHTRs and for delivering short-term psychological interventions for those that are sentenced to an MHTR. We expect all of the MHTR services to work closely together to ensure that there is consistency in the MHTR service being offered across London. The successful candidates will hold a clinical caseload and be responsible for supervision of the Senior Assistant Psychologist team. We hope to recruit a staff team reflective of the population we serve and welcome applications from those with protected characteristics, including minoritised ethnic groups. Candidates will be given the opportunity to be considered for all five MHTR band 7 posts at interview; as there are 3 other Band 7 posts being advertised simultaneously in North London, on behalf of the North London Forensic Collaborative.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As a mental health clinician in the Emotional Health Service you will be passionate about improving the mental health of children and young people and putting them at the centre of all you do. In this role you will be part of a small team who are focused on supporting mental health in schools for our most vulnerable pupils. Part of the role will be dedicated to children who experience Emotionally Related School Avoidance (ERSA). You will co-deliver our innovative ERSA groups for parents and young people and provide consultation and advice to education colleagues. The remainder of your role will be to deliver buy-in services to schools. This will involve delivering bespoke packages of support to school communities involving the delivery of consultation, training, assessments, group and individual therapy and reflective space for staff.</p><p>You will be part of a team of clinicians providing access to peer supervision and many exciting development opportunities. You will also receive clinical supervision and line management within the service.</p>
