  <p>We are a well-established eating disorder service looking for a dynamic enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist or Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist. </p> <p>The DHCFT eating disorder service was established in 2007 and is an expanding service which covers the City of Derby and the County of Derbyshire providing a high-quality community service.</p> <p>Therapeutic interventions are provided to clients and their families and consultation and advice are offered to a wide range of staff.</p> <p>The team currently consists of Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists, Nurse Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Dietitians and Administrators.</p> <p>The team currently delivers a range of therapeutic interventions from CBT-E, MANTRA, and Psychodynamic and Systemically informed approaches. <h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>The Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) were established in Nottingham City in February 2020, providing an early intervention and preventative service for over 892 children and young people and their families so far. This includes providing support for anxiety, low mood and behavioural difficulties, as well as running workshops to groups of children within educational settings, on themes such as transition, resilience and wellbeing, general wellbeing hacks, worry and distractions and emotions through puberty.</p><p>Currently MHST are supporting children and young people in over 70 educational settings, which will increase over the next 18 months to around 100 sites across the city. The expansion is being funded through £1.01m from NHS England and Health Education England as part of a national initiative.</p><p>We work in partnership with the school community and other wellbeing services to develop a whole school approach to mental health and wellbeing, building on what is being done already. <p>We are looking for aPeer Support Worker to join our Perinatal inpatient ward - The Beeches Mother and Baby Unit.</p>
<p>The Beeches is a 6 bedded unit, we admit women and birthing people from 32 weeks pregnancy and admit with babies up until the age of one. We work with a range of perinatal mental illness's and support them through their recovery journey. We also work closely with our patients partners and family members to ensure they are supported whilst their loved one is on the ward.</p>
<p>The successful applicant will work as a member of our multi-disciplinary mental health team, which is made up of nurses, nursery nurses, psychiatrists, psychologists, a social worker and occupational therapists.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Under the supervision of a qualified practitioner, you will help support our our mums and families on the ward. This will include the running of a peer support group on the ward where you will be able to share your own experience, you will inspire hope and belief that recovery is possible, and be able to discuss the difficulties in the perinatal period.</p>
<p>This role has been developed specifically for individuals who have lived experience of accessing Perinatal Mental Health Services.</p>
<p>You will be able to promote peer support within the perinatal service, and contribute to the development of their involvement and participation, in service development.</p>
<p>The role is for 15 hours a week and we are happy to be flexible with what days and hours this is for the successful applicant.</p>
