  <p>An exciting position has arisen within our Cannock Mental Health Support Team. We are looking for an experienced &amp; enthusiastic Education Mental Health Practitioner/Children's Wellbeing Practitioner.</p> <p>Youwill continue to build on the fantastic work carried out within your allocated schools. The role is varied &amp; no two days are the same, you may be setting up and delivering group work &amp; assemblies one day to delivering assessment &amp; interventions the next, as well assupportingschools to develop their whole school approaches to mental health &amp; wellbeing.</p> <p>You will be skilled &amp; experienced in conducting mental health assessments of children and young people (CYP) presenting with common mental health difficulties such as anxiety and low mood. You will conduct risk assessments &amp; identify the right level of support for CYP you come into contact with.</p> <p>Alongside the clinical aspect of your role, you will play an integral part in supporting schools with their whole school approaches. There is scope for creativity and opportunities to work alongside CYP &amp; parents/carers to drive the whole school approach agenda.</p> <p>This is an opportunity to be involved in an established team within the wider CAMHS structure, as a joint initiative between health &amp; education.   <p>Here in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland (LLR), we are innovatively transforming ways of working with people with relational and emotional difficulties often described diagnostically as Personality Disorder.</p><p>As part of this, we are keen for another Principal Psychologist to join us in our secondary care psychologically-led dedicated provisionas a Clinical Lead.

The service has over 30 staff, including Psychologists, a Medical Psychotherapist, Peer Support Workers, and Mental Health Practitioners. We offer a range of psychological and psychologically-informed approaches within the tradition of trauma-informed care, including Mentalization-Based Therapy, Cognitive Analytic Therapy, and a structured clinical management approach.</p><p>We would be very keen to hear from applicants with an interest and training in any of these approaches. We will support your training and continued professional development in these models to support your delivery of clinical leadership.</p><p>This post is full time but part-time will be considered.</p><p><strong>Interview date: </strong>3rd October 2025 - If you have been

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>We are very pleased to be able to offer this new role to further enhance our services clinical leadership. The role will offer an exciting opportunity to be part of a multi-disciplinary leadership team leading the ongoing transformation of the service. You will work alongside the Consultant Clinical Lead, other Clinical Leads, and Team Managers to lead this change; offering an exciting opportunity to enhance your strategic and clinical leadership skills.</p><p>With this new role, we aim not only to strengthen the delivery of our current offers, but we have a future aspiration to also expand their scope.

You will take a key clinical leadership role in the service alongside other Clinical Leads. You will be responsible for leading the implementation and delivery of psychological interventions, supported by the Consultant Psychologist Lead, who will offer professional, managerial, and clinical supervision.</p><p>The role will offer a variety of opportunities which will include clinical leadership, direct formulation and intervention, delivering training, service development, group and 1:1 clinical supervision and consultation to others, and service evaluation. There will be opportunities to shape the role and for continued professional development in areas relevant to service delivery and development.
