Role: Mental Health Nurse Location: Loughborough, Hours: 40 per week (shift rota, days and nights) Contract: Permanent Salary: 43,000 -44,000 We're recruiting an experienced nurse for a 24-bed nurse-led specialist mental health unit in Loughborough. The service supports people with complex, long-standing mental health conditions, with a focus on maintaining wellbeing and reducing the need for acute hospital admission. What the role involves: <ul> <li>Leading clinical shifts and supporting junior staff</li> <li>Managing risk and responding to incidents</li> <li>Delivering recovery-focused, person-centred care</li> <li>Working within a full MDT including psychiatry and psychology</li> </ul> What you'll need: <ul> <li>Current NMC registration (RMN preferred, or RNLD/RGN with mental health experience)</li> <li>Solid knowledge of mental health legislation</li> <li>Experience managing challenging behaviour and complex risk</li> </ul> Structured induction, clinical supervision and progression into leadership.
