Remote ADHD Psychologist

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and committed Clinical Psychologist or Counselling Psychologist to join our well-established Complex Psychological Interventions Service in Bristol. The post is based in Adult Mental Health Services in the Inner City and East Bristol team, and the successful applicant will support the delivery of psychological interventions in the Assessment and Recovery Team.</p>
<p>We are looking for applicants with a particular interest in working with people with a broad range of complex and enduring mental health difficulties across the lifespan, including older adults who are served within our ageless service. We are particularly interested in candidates with special skills and experience in CBT for severe mental health difficulties.</p>
<p>In addition, the successful candidate will lead the organisation and development of our established Staff Support Debrief Service for the community teams in Bristol.</p>
<p>As well as working closely within the teams, you will receive excellent support and supervision from more senior and well-established CPI members. There will be opportunities for continuing professional development and development of innovative research projects.</p>

In Year 2 they will commence the Birkbeck Post-Graduate Diploma Level and begin working with Couples and continue to work with both Individuals and Couples in Year 3. This course is also accredited with UKCP.</em></strong></p> <p>The post holder will attend all taught and self-study days required by the education provider (Mondays and Tuesdays) as specified within the agreed national curriculum and work in the service for the remaining days of the week using their newly developed skills.</p> <p>This course is a national offer with 6 x 2 Monday and Tuesdays an academic year. High Intensity Therapist

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>Dorset CAMHS is recruiting a Lead Clinician for a fixed term period of 6 months to support the expansion of the Mental Health in Schools Support Team based in North &amp; East Dorset.</p> <p>The Mental Health Support Teams are part of an exciting trailblazer project funded by NHS England, Health Education England and partners, withthe aim of improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in the community. There is a specific focus on developing moreaccess to helping and improving the general culture of emotional support within all primary and secondary schools including special educationalprovisions and Pupil Referral Units.</p> <p>We are looking for a confident professional with a demonstrable track record of providing quality evidenced based interventions. You will have significant experience of supervising clinicians and be able to evidence operational leadership skills and abilities. There will be opportunities to carry a small caseload where you would provide comprehensive assessments, risk management and interventions for young people experiencing emotional and mental health difficulties.</p> <p><strong>This is a fixed term role and for those with current NHS service, the role will be offered on a secondment basis only. Please obtain permission to be released on a secondment before submitting an application.</strong></p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Working alongside community partners the three Mental Health Support Teams in Dorset are fully integrated with community CAMHS and educationalsettings.</p> <p>You will help to oversee the delivery of clinical work within the project, ensuring that a wide range of evidence based interventionsare used to support young people's mental health.</p> <p>You will provide clinical supervision and leadership to more junior colleagues and will be involved with developing clinical operational processes for the delivery of clinical interventions in schools.</p> <p><strong>Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.
