  <p>We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or CBT Therapist to join our dynamic Diabetes Psychology Team (30 hours per week).</p> <p>If you are an enthusiastic and motivated clinician with experience in working with people with diabetes or Long-Term Conditions (LTC), and you are passionate about delivering evidence-based psychological interventions and service development, we encourage you to apply.</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity to develop advanced clinical skills within a multidisciplinary team and be involved in a key service development project. Regular supervision will be provided.</p> <p>The post holder will be responsible for delivering a specialist psychology service to patients living with Type 2 diabetes in Well Street Common PCN and Hackney Marshes PCN.</p> <p>Your work within the Diabetes Psychology team will be central to improving patient engagement, self-management, and overall outcomes, with a specific focus on addressing health inequalities. This includes identifying and working with patients who struggle to attend appointments, as well as providing one-to-one and group-based support for individuals struggling with diabetes related distress. It will also involve wider outreach in the community and skilling up primary care staff to improve effectiveness of patient contact.</p> <p>You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team with disciplines including Endocrinology, Nursing, Psychology, Dietetics, and Diabetes Lay Educators and the wider primary care team.</p>

  <ul>  <li>Clinical: Providing specialist psychological interventions to complex patients living with Type 2 diabetes, within HM &amp; WSC PCNs to improve self-management and promote active, healthy lifestyles.</li>  <li>Service &amp; Community Engagement: Identifying barriers to engagement in diabetes management within the two PCNs through focused research, including questionnaires and focus groups.</li>  <li>Awareness &amp; Outreach: Engaging with the community to raise awareness of diabetes management resources, with a strong focus on marginalised groups.</li>  <li>Staff Training &amp; Support: Skilling up existing staff on the knowledge and awareness of psychological barriers to engagement in diabetes care, and utilising resources like MDMs to improve the effectiveness of patient contact and reduce disengagement.</li>  <li>Peer Support: Setting up peer support initiatives based on identified need, making strategic use of existing community resources.</li>  <li>Sustainability: Developing a sustainable model of care that can be fully integrated into the PCN's ongoing services after the initial funding period concludes.</li> </ul>

  <p>We are looking for a compassionate psychologist (clinical/ forensic) to join us at Ridgeway in our Secure Inpatient Psychology Service TEWV NHS Trust. It is a Fixed Term 12month post to cover maternity leave. Experience working with a Learning Disability population is preferrable.</p> <p>The post would suit an enthusiastic Psychologist, valuing the opportunity to work collaboratively with members of a well-established multi-disciplinary team, where psychology is a core treatment offer. A key part of this role will be using clinical leadership skills to influence teams to embed formulations, psychological understanding and psychosocial interventions in everyday practice.</p> <p>As a service, we are keen to support and invest in the ongoing development of our Psychologists through CPD opportunities, so an interest in developing clinical skills across a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches is essential. The Psychologist would have the opportunity to gain experience working with a diverse population that includes male and female mental health, learning disability, autism and older adults, including those who may have experienced trauma and/ or neurological difficulties.</p>

  <p>Our dedicated team is seeking to recruit a fixed term or secondment opportunity for a Band 7 Psychological Therapist. This post will be covering maternity leave within the team for 12 months. We are seeking a therapist with an accredited core therapy training and experience working with individuals with complex or single event trauma and/or loss. Training and experience in delivering either Trauma-focused CBT or EMDR is desirable but not essential. The role involves delivering evidence-based interventions to support women and birthing people who have experienced mental health difficulties relating to their birth experience, including Birth Trauma, fear of childbirth (Tokophobia), baby loss and separation from their baby due to Children's Services involvement.</p> <p>This fantastic opportunity has arisen to be involved in the continued development and delivery of a specialist birth trauma and perinatal loss service. The Lotus Maternal Therapeutic Outreach Service launched in June 2021 as a pilot site chosen to develop and trial a Maternal Mental Health Service (MMHS) as part of the NHS Long Term Plan. Together with the wider perinatal service, the Lotus team was awarded 'Team of the Year' in the NSFT Staff Excellence Awards 2022. We are a small, dedicated team comprising of Clinical Psychologists, Peer Support Workers and Specialist Midwives, offering specialist assessment and psychological interventions to women and birthing people.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p><strong><em>Do you have empathy and passion to support women experiencing perinatal trauma and/or loss? Do you have experience of working within perinatal services or an interest in perinatal mental health and willingness to learn more about working within this field?</em></strong></p> <p>This exciting opportunity is available to be part of a developing a service, working with the Lotus Maternal Therapeutic Outreach Team. The successful candidate will contribute to the provision of the Psychological Therapy Services within NSFT.</p> <p>Interventions currently offered by the team include CBT, EMDR, Compassion Focused Therapy and CAT. The role will involve liaising with other health care teams and supporting families with possible safeguarding risks.</p> <p>The role will also include completing telephone triage and mental health assessments for new referrals.</p>

  <p>This post is part of the Perinatal Psychological Therapies leadership team responsible for overseeing the Psychology provision in their patch. The Clinical Psychology team across the service comprises one band 8b Clinical Psychologist, band 8a Practitioner Psychologists, band 7 Practitioner Psychologists, Assistant Psychologists, Trainee Clinical Psychologists and Honorary Placement Students.</p>
