Our Perinatal team offers a unique opportunity to develop skills in both adult mental health and also to develop skills in parent infant and family work. The team has close links with other services, including IAPT, secondary care mental health teams and maternity as well as third sector organisations.   <p>Main Clinical Duties;</p>
<p>The main clinical work undertaken is to provide specialist psychological assessment and intervention for mothers and their babies and families in the community. The post holder will also offer clinical supervision to more junior staff and trainees.</p>
<p>The post holder will be involved in delivering evidence-based individual and group-based interventions. The psychological therapies team include clinical and counselling psychologists, as well as CBT therapists. The successful applicant will be part of a friendly and supportive team. There is an established reflective practice space for the whole team as well as regular individual supervision provided by the senior psychologist. Opportunities to develop supervision skills are consistently available and Oxleas has a longstanding relationship with clinical and counselling doctorate programs in taking trainees and developing the wider workforce.</p>

  <p>To provide a high-quality, specialist clinical psychology service to older adults admitted to the inpatient mental health ward. There are six specialist services on the Brooklands Hospital site, providing inpatient assessment and treatment services to adults (men and women) and young people with an Intellectual Disability. This includes both secure and non-secure services. </p> <p>Your role will be to provide support to the qualified Clinical team in delivering a high quality psychology service within some of the inpatient services, working in a multi-disciplinary team and engaging with young people and adults with complex needs and who can display a range of behavioural challenge. These are busy professional roles in which energy, initiative and reflective practice are vital.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder would be joining a dynamic team with a range of clinical interests and expertise in a variety of therapeutic models including DBT, Compassion Focussed, EMDR and Narrative approaches.</p> <p>Positive Behavioural Support is a major part of our treatment philosophy and the service ethos is to ensure that effective, evidence based interventions are provided to people who can present considerable risk, to ensure that they can return to a less restrictive environment in the community as soon as possible.</p> <p>All members of the team receive excellent support, good quality supervision and opportunities for continuing professional development. There are good links with psychological services staff across the Trust, developing Special Interest Groups across speciality and an annual conference. The Psychological services team also has strong links with local clinical and forensic training courses, and regularly provides placements for trainee clinical and forensic psychologists, supervision for DClinPsy and DForPsy research, and teaching on the courses.</p> <p>Candidates with experience of working within a range of clinical settings including CAMHS, Forensic, Mental Health, Social Care and Learning Disabilities are welcomed.   <p></p><p>We currently have an opportunity for
a Clinical or Forensic Psychologist at our forensic mental health hospital, Heatherwood
Court. Comprising of a Locked Rehabilitation Service (1 female ward) and a Low
Secure Service (1 male and 2 female wards), Heatherwood Court treats patients with
complex needs, including severe and enduring mental illness, complex trauma,
and difficulties consistent with a diagnosis of personality disorder. </p><p>We are looking for applicants with
experience of working with service users with complex needs and risk behaviours
along with those who have an interest and prior experience of delivering
evidenced-based interventions for people with personality disorder and/or
complex mental health problems. We are particularly interested in candidates
who have received DBT training, but would offer training to suitable candidates
on appointment.</p><p>This post will join an established, dynamic
team of psychologists including a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, , Forensic Psychologist and
Assistant Psychologists, working as part of a specialist multi-disciplinary
team. The team are also supported by Positive Practice Workers, graduate
psychologists in blended role combining both support worker shifts and clinical
days with the teams. There are also regular opportunities to network with the
wider Iris Care Group qualified psychologists within Departmental Meetings and Psychology

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Locum Clinical Psychologist (Grade 8a) to join our friendly Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) in North East Wiltshire, and the Wiltshire Psychological Therapies Service (PTS),for a period of six months.</p> <p>This locum role is primarily based in Chippenham and Devizes, while providing clinical services to the older adult population throughout Wiltshire.</p> <p>Working as part of both the Wiltshire PTS and CMHT offers psychologists the opportunity to treat a range of disorders and presenting difficulties.   <p>The CAP role is central to the team's psychological provision, with opportunities for group interventions, 1:1 therapy using a Structured Clinical Management model and other evidence based approaches, alongside joint assessment, formulation, intervention and consultation.</p> <p>There will be opportunities for leadership, research, service development and consultation to the system, which will involve liaising with professionals involved in the in care of the individual. This is a multidisciplinary team including Consultant Psychiatrist and Consultant Paediatricians, Clinical Psychology, Family Therapy, CBT and SFP trained staff, Nursing, Support Worker, Assistant Practitioner and Assistant Psychology.</p> <p>The successful applicant will provide a substantial contribution to the clinical work of the team and will hold full case management responsibility for their workload. Regular clinical supervision will be provided.</p> <p>The main base for this post will be at Alder Hey, but appointments across Liverpool and Sefton will be required.</p> <p>Experience working with children and young people with an eating disorder and/or ARFID will be beneficial. <p>The post holder will provide both clinical and line manager supervision to junior members of the team as well as a leadership role within the service.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are delighted to offer an opportunity for a dynamic and compassionate Clinical Psychologist/Practitioner Psychologist to step into an Band 8b Clinical Lead role within our vibrant and friendly Salford Early Intervention in Psychosis service (EIP) and the Early Detection and Intervention Team (EDIT).</p> <p>The post holder will provide direct clinical work, while also supporting all aspects of psychological and psycho-social intervention work carried within the EI and EDIT teams, via the provision of supervision, consultation and training and co-working opportunities.</p> <p>The post holder will promote psychological perspectives by regular contribution to MDT discussions, supervision, and training. The Early Intervention Teams at GMMH are research active and the post holder will strengthen links between our Salford team and the GMMH psychosis research unit to offer service users the opportunity to become involved in a wide range of research projects.</p> <p>The post holder will join a supportive group of other 8b Clinical Psychologists who lead the other EI teams across the Trust.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This is an opportunity to lead psychological care provision in Salford for people identified as being 'at risk' of developing first episode psychosis, and those experiencing first episode psychosis. Salford EDIT and EI teams are multidisciplinary teams with a strong culture of facilitating personal recovery via psychological and psychosocial interventions.</p> <p>The post-holder will lead on the development and delivery of psychological interventions, ensuring high quality evidence-based and trauma-informed practice across the pathway. They will benefit from strong peer support within a highly skilled network of psychologists across GMMH and have access to excellent CPD opportunities, as well as reflective practice, and research opportunities.</p> <p>We are looking for: An HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist/Practitioner psychologist with substantial post-qualification experience in adult mental health and especially psychosis, with extensive experience of working well within multidisciplinary NHS teams, with expertise in CBT for psychosis and Family Interventions, with considerable supervision and leadership experience.</p> <p>If you are a passionate clinician and wish to utilise the full range of your knowledge and skills to aid personal recoveries of people within an EDIT and EI service context, we'd very much like to hear from you.</p>
