  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Psychological Therapist with enthusiasm and interest in working with older people to join a friendly and supportive specialist primary care team. Based at St James House, The Salford Older Adult Primary Care Psychological Therapies Service provides psychological therapies and counselling to older people within the Salford community. We are a unique service and passionate about the needs of older people and equal access to talking therapies.</p> <p>We are looking for a compassionate and creative individual to deliver high quality talking therapies to older people presenting with a range of psychological difficulties in the context of ageing. You will also be passionate about promoting the mental health needs of older people. You would be part of a small, nurturing team, which includes Psychologists, Counsellors, Occupational Therapist, and a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. As a service we utilise a variety of therapeutic approaches adapted to the needs of our clients, including CBT, Compassion Focussed Therapy, EMDR and Person-Centred Counselling. We also run groups for carers of people with dementia to support their psychological needs.</p> <p>The post involves community work and home visiting, so applicants must be able to demonstrate ability/offer a strategy to undertake visits safely and efficiently.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will provide specialist psychological assessment, intervention and therapy to older people referred to the service. This will be a mix of clinic based appointments and home visits. There will also be opportunities to be involved in group work.</p>
<p>The post holder will be able to work autonomously within professional guidelines to deliver therapy to older people presenting with a range of emotional difficulties. At times this may also involve working with carers, families and liaison with other health professionals.</p>
<p>There will be opportunities to contribute to research, audit and service development.</p>

Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner

  <p>The Perinatal Mental Health Team supports birthing people in Bedfordshire and Luton with moderate to severe mental health difficulties antenatally and up to two years postnatally.   <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Gloucestershire Mental Health Support Team for the recruitment of Qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner's (EMHP) or Children's Wellbeing Practitioners.</p>
<p>In line with the government's priority to increase access and availability of mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people, the EMHP role is an exciting opportunity to deliver evidence-based early interventions for children and young people, working across both educational settings and healthcare sectors.</p>
<p>Successful candidates will be employed on a full-time basis based within Gloucestershire, and will play a key role as members of the Mental Health Support Team, who will have the responsibility for delivering schools' overarching approach to providing mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people.</p>

  <p>This is an opportunity to lead psychological care provision in Salford for people identified as being 'at risk' of developing first episode psychosis, and those experiencing first episode psychosis. Salford EDIT and EI teams are multidisciplinary teams with a strong culture of facilitating personal recovery via psychological and psychosocial interventions.</p> <p>The post-holder will lead on the development and delivery of psychological interventions, ensuring high quality evidence-based and trauma-informed practice across the pathway.   <p>Essex SET MID CAMHS has an opportunity for 2 qualified professionals to step into an established role within a diverse and experienced team.</p>
<p>The Mid Essex CAMHS team has a base in Chelmsford and covers the surrounding areas including Braintree, Maldon, Southminster and Halstead. The successful applicants would be based in Chelmsford but expected to cover our satellite clinics in Braintree, Halstead and Maldon.</p>
<p>The CAMHS Practitioner role supports the development and implementation of a range of interventions within the Thrive Model as indicated by SET CAMHS and NICE guidance e.g CBT, DBT, trauma informed.</p>
<p>The successful applicant will demonstrate thorough assessment skills including care planning and risk formulation. You will be able to provide a variety of one to one and group treatments and include the use of outcome measures and goal setting to track progress. Experience of working within multi-agency frameworks would be advantageous. This post would suit clinicians with good experience in working with young people who present with complexity and significant levels of risk, and can work with the wider systems including education, social care and family/carers.</p>

<p>Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke provides an emergency admissions servicefor men and a pathway for women from low secure to rehabilitation including a specialist servicefor personality disorder.</p>

<p><strong>Your Day-to-Day</strong></p>

<ul>
 <li>Youll be working 40 hours a week</li>
 <li>Work as a team Psychologist within a multidisciplinary team (MDT)</li>
 <li>Carry out psychological assessments &amp; provide therapy to individuals &amp; groups</li>
 <li>Collaboratively develop care plans with the MDT</li>
 <li>Provide training &amp; supervision to colleagues, &amp; consultation to teams</li>
 <li>Evaluate the service, contribute to its development &amp; carry out clinical research</li>
 <li>Disseminate outcomes via conference presentations and publications.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>We are looking for someone who is...</strong></p>

<ul>
 <li>A HCPC registered Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychologist with experience in a clinical forensic or mental health setting</li>
 <li>Expereince of working within a Personality Disorder Unit</li>
 <li>Preferably trained in complex therapies such as Schema focused, Cognitive Analytical and DBT</li>
 <li>Passionate about working with people with a range of complex mental health needs</li>
 <li>Capable of treating difficulties such as self-harm, physical &amp; verbal aggression, history of sexual offending and drug &amp; alcohol problems.</li>
