  <p>We are looking to recruit a full-time Senior Clinical Psychologist (or equivalent) or a more recently qualified Clinical Psychologist seeking a preceptorship role to join the south in-patient service for older people within Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT). This service offers psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for people over the age of 65 years with dementia, as well as those experiencing distress from emotional disorders or psychosis who require admission.</p>

  <p>The post holder will work alongside an enthusiastic multidisciplinary team to:</p>

  <p><strong>This is a community-based role that requires frequent travel to various locations throughout the county including areas that may not be accessible by public transportation. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate how they will manage these travel requirements.</strong></p> <p>This role sits alongside other practitioner psychologists, psychological therapists, assistant psychologists, trainee psychologists, Clinical Associate Psychologists (CAPs) and Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioners (MHWPs) embedded in an experienced, compassionate, trauma informed and person-centred multidisciplinary team which welcomes psychological interventions and collaborative working. </p> <p>The role is a varied one providing assessment (including neurodevelopmental), formulation, individual and group interventions, and consultation using a range of therapeutic approaches. </p> <p>You will also support psychological practice within the team by contributing a psychological perspective to team working, treatment planning and supervising other psychological professionals. </p> <p>There is a key focus on quality to enhance services.   <p><strong>Band 8a full time post, with Band 7 - 8a preceptorship opportunities available</strong></p> <p>This post offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic psychologist within the Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale Community Learning Disability Team, part of the wider North Yorkshire, York &amp; Selby Learning Disability Service.</p> <p>We are seeking to appoint a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist who is passionate about working with people with learning disabilities. The vacancy is open to an existing Band 8A psychologist or a Band 7psychologist wishing to progress in their career. We will also consider offering a preceptorship option for a newly or recently qualified clinical or counselling psychologist who may not yet meet the essential criteria; to progress from a band 7 into the band 8a position. </p> <p>The post offers many excitingdevelopmental and creative opportunities.</p> <p>The post holder will have a key role in providing psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions to service users, their families, carers, and staff teams. This may be through direct therapeutic support using various adapted psychological approaches or indirect work with a service user's support system using psychologically informed thinking.</p> <p>An additional element to this role is offering neuropsychological assessments to service users, alongside reflective practice, consultation, and supervision.   <p>We are seeking an experienced Forensic Psychologist / Clinical Lead to join our dynamic Forensic Team within Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. <h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Gloucestershire Mental Health Support Team for the recruitment of Qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner's (EMHP)</p>
<p>In line with the government's priority to increase access and availability of mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people, the EMHP role is an exciting opportunity to deliver evidence-based early interventions for children and young people, working across both educational settings and healthcare sectors.</p>
<p>Successful candidates will be employed on a full-time basis based within Gloucestershire, and will play a key role as members of the Mental Health Support Team, who will have the responsibility for delivering schools' overarching approach to providing mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people.</p>
<p>Potential candidates will have already successfully completed the HEE commissioned 1yr 'Education Mental Health Practitioner' course or the equivalent 'Children's Wellbeing Practitioner' course.</p>
<p>As part of this role there will be a requirement to travel across the localities.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To allow the post holder, with appropriate supervision, to work as an autonomous and responsible practitioner as their training affords and within the scope of their job description, to engage in;</p> <p>o Delivering evidence-based intervention for children and young people in education setting with mild to moderate mental health problems</p> <p>o Helping children and young people within these settings who present with more severe problems to rapidly access more specialist services</p> <p>o Supporting and facilitating staff in education settings to identify and where appropriate manage issues related to mental health and wellbeing</p> <p>o Working with and within education environments to afford better access to specialist mental health services and to use the acquired skills, knowledge and abilities to deliver a service based within education settings that builds on and reinforces but does not replace those initiatives that already exist within these environments.</p> <p><strong>The qualification, training &amp; experience requirements for the role are underlined in the Job Description/Person Specification.</strong></p>
