  <p><strong>Do you have experience working with Children, Young people and their families with mental health difficulties?</strong></p> <p><strong>Are you looking to enhance your skills and work within a supportive and experienced team?</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a Clinical or counselling Psychologist to join the Bath and North East Somerset (BANES) Mental Health Support Team (MHST) on a part-time basis.</p> <p>You would be joining an MHST team of dedicated staff working in schools across BANES, offering Low Intensity CBT for mild/moderate anxiety and low mood, as well as a whole school approach.</p> <p>You would be offering 1:1 therapy for CYP with moderate MH needs that exceed/do not fit with Low Intensity as well as providing Clinical Skills and Case Management supervision and support to colleagues trained in Low intensity CBT.</p> <p>If you do not currently possess a post graduate certificate in Supervision, you will be enrolled on the one year part time post graduate supervisors course in order to meet the requirements of this role.</p> <p>You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the many exciting service developments currently underway. We have close links with the University of Bath and University of Oxford Doctorate courses.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will be joining either the BANES Mental Health Support Team, a constantly evolving service which is committed to adapting to meet diverse and challenging demands and to maintaining high quality specialist assessment and intervention whilst being mindful of throughput, innovation and efficiencies. The work can be fast paced with a need to be flexible but also highly rewarding. You will support the model of high volume low intensity as well as offer more intense support to those CYP with more complex needs.</p> <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic, personable, and resourceful individual who is committed to supporting developing services as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will need excellent communication and organisational skills, and a keenness to be part of a busy and vibrant service.</p> <ul>  <li>Work closely with the Clinical Psychology Lead, Senior Wellbeing Practitioners, Supervisors, Education Mental Health Practitioners and Child Wellbeing Practitioners to assess, formulate, plan and deliver evidence based treatment for a wide variety of mental health presentations with varying complexity.</li>  <li>Deliver supervision to the teams Senior Wellbeing Practitioners and Supervisors (Training will be provided if you do not hold a current qualification)</li>  <li>Support the team with service delivery initiatives and projects where appropriate.</li> </ul>

  <p>We're seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist (Band 8a, 1.0 WTE) to help shape and deliver psychologically-informed care in our 24/7 recovery house service--a short-stay alternative to hospital admission for adults experiencing acute mental health distress.Working flexibly within a multidisciplinary team, you'll provide trauma-informed assessments, brief interventions, and psychological leadership in a recovery-focused, inclusive environment that centres lived experience and cultural safety.</p> <p>Recovery House (RH)is a new and innovative service we are launching that meets an important need for people(18+)experiencing poor mental health. The RH will provide those in crisis with a safe, secure and welcoming environment to support the de-escalation of crisis. The House will be open to new and existing BSMHFT service users and will provide a homely environment, allowing people to retain independence, whilst receiving person centred and appropriate care.</p> <p>The service which is part of the Trust's Urgent Care pathway is a partnership with Birmingham Mind and builds on the range of strong collaborations we have with the voluntary sector.</p> <p>The RH will serve as a base for community integration, allowing service users to connect with local communities and provision, as well as their family/carers.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Tasks include:</p> <p>o Provide psychological formulations and short-term interventions (CBT, trauma-informed approaches)</p> <p>o Supervise and develop a Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioner, colleagues in the team and support workers</p> <p>o Support the team in crisis planning, reflective practice, and risk formulation</p> <p>o Embed culturally responsive and trauma-informed care across the service</p> <p>o Liaise with NHS and community services to support safe transitions</p> <p>You will also input one day a week into our Home Treatment service.   <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 8a Psychologist, to lead the Long-Term Conditions part of Paediatric Psychological Support Service based at the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital.</p> <p>The post-holder will be part of a small team of psychologists working with children diagnosed with a range of long-term medical conditions (e.g. inflammatory bowel diseases, juvenile arthritis, epilepsy) living in Brighton and Hove. This role includes close collaboration with another 8a psychologist who leads on working with children with long-term conditions living outside of Brighton and Hove.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The Long-Term Conditions Service offer short-term therapy, as well as consultation and training to support the needs of children diagnosed with long-term medical conditions. as a service, we draw on a range of therapeutic approaches including CBT, systemic, mindfulness, ACT and EMDR. The focus of this role would be to oversee the incoming referrals to the service and responses to these, including holding a clinical caseload and supervising the clinical work of a band 7 psychologist (and at times a trainee clinical psychologist). This role would suit a flexible and dynamic practitioner who is able to develop treatment plans that are tailored to the needs of children, young people and their families, which might include individual, parent-child, parent or group work, as well as close liaison with medical teams and other agencies. There is room for innovation within the service, with previous practitioners offering Tree of Life groups, Woodland Wellbeing days and sea swimming groups to support young people to have a different experience of themselves and build their confidence. Opportunities to develop appropriate staff training and group work is also supported where this meets a clinical need. The post-holder would be encouraged to supervise or co-supervise a trainee clinical psychologist.</p>

This is an exciting time to be joining the Trust as we are looking at improving our services for people experiencing psychosis and bipolar disorder and expanding the psychological provision in our teams.</p> <p>Working across a number of community teams you will provide expertise in both direct clinical work and leadership/supervision of teams in psychological approaches to care.</p> <p>This is a key clinical leadership role, working within teams and responsible for continuing to drive and embed the significant work already undertaken to develop services for people with psychosis across Gloucestershire.</p> <p>The post holder will be responsible for providing highly-specialist advice and consultancy to staff, teams, and patients with direct responsibility for the provision of psychological services within the teams, including supervision of assistants and trainees. They will also have a key role to play in service development and quality improvement across care pathways.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This role covers teams based in Gloucester, Cheltenham and across the county. All reasonable flexible working requests will be considered, but the post holder will be expected to work across sites in line with service need.</p> <p>Our specialist mental health services work with adults with severe mental health problems.   <p>A rare and exciting vacancy has arisen for a passionate and highly motivated band 7/8a Practitioner Psychologist to join our Secure CAMHS team.</p> <p>The Secure CAMHS (SCAMHS) service sits within the Ardenleigh site and offers treatment for up to 11 young people, across two wards. It has received accreditations from QNIC and the National Autistic Society and a quality review in June 2024 highlighted strengths in a positive team culture, great relationships between young people and staff and comprehensive therapeutic provision. </p> <p>The young people we work with have often experienced significant difficulties in their lives and presentations include trauma, mental illness, personality difficulties, neurodevelopment difficulties and harm to self and/or others. As a team psychologist, you will work alongside a range of professionals, providing safe, containing environments and interventions to help the young people understand themselves, their mental health and offending behaviour. Within the role you will have opportunities to provide individual and group interventions, supervision and management of others, and be involved in training, service development, audit and evaluation.</p>

  <p>The service has a strong multi-disciplinary team ethos, in which psychology is well established and respected. It is committed to providing the best care for young people, and as such service user involvement and co-production are central to what we do. <h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join 14 Arches, Staff Psychology &amp; Counselling; a psychology-led service offering psychological support to NHS staff working in Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust. The service is based in Northampton but provides support across sites where NHFT staff are based.</p>
<p>You would be joining an innovative and enthusiastic team of two principal psychologists and two experienced counsellors, supported by a clinical administrator. Psychologists within the service offer one-to-one consultations to colleagues, in which we explore an area of concern and help make sense of what is going on; we also offer support to teams and team leaders, consulting when there are difficulties and providing input to teams through structured activities and reflective practice.</p>
<p>We are looking for an innovative and dedicated clinician with a strong commitment to improving psychological wellbeing for NHS staff and an interest in using their skills in a range of individual and group interventions with staff. Strengths will be psychological formulation which draws on a range of models, and the ability to communicate and share psychological thinking with colleagues. Also important will be the ability in the postholder to work at a systemic level, develop practice and take forward a project within the service.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You would be expected to work alongside the established psychologists and counsellors within the service, delivering support to colleagues who refer in, supporting service evaluation and development and contributing to supervision, governance and service development.
