  <p>We are looking for a clinical psychologist who is interested in developing their skills further within the Bedford Community Access Pathway. </p>  <p>This post is based within Bedford Community Access Service CAMHS (CAS) Service, and which provides a specialist service, to young people, their families/caring network, working closely with external partners including Education, Local Authority and Primary Care. This is a community-based post, located within Bedford CAMHS, offering flexible, evidence-based episodes of care, assessments and treatments, group-work and psychoeducation to children, young people and parent/carers.</p>  <p>Bedford CAS provides specialist therapeutic interventions to children, adolescents and their families from a wide range of social and ethnic backgrounds, whose problems cause mild to moderate levels of concern to themselves, their parents/carers, professionals and the wider community. The team also works closely with the locality CAMH teams to provide a seamless multi-disciplinary service.</p>  <p>The team is part of wider and comprehensive Bedfordshire Specialist CAMH Services that offers a comprehensive stepped model of mental health care, from early intervention partnerships with all our schools and GP practices, to the imminent opening of an adolescent inpatient unit with intensive home treatment care, providing for all four quadrants of the Thrive model.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The role will include the provision of specialist advice/consultation to the network around the young person, psychological assessment, liaison with other agencies, psychology interventions, cognitive assessments, delivering training and workshops, supporting and informing on the trauma-based care for the children and young people and their caring networks, helping to develop a system of care and embedding a trauma-informed approach with partner agencies, clinical supervision (Band 8A) and line management (Band 8A). </p>  <p>At Band 8A, the post holder will be an experienced psychologist with a substantial knowledge in the field of child and adolescent mental health, with an awareness of the social, emotional and psychological impact of care experienced young people. They will clinically supervise the work of trainee psychologists and other psychologists as needed, and offer management supervision to other members of the team.   <p>This is an exciting opportunity for a recently qualified psychology graduate to contribute to the Dementia Assessment and Support service (DASS) here in Shropshire.</p> <p>This post is for a fixed term of 12 months, full-time. It is anticipated that we will not be able to acquire additional funding for an extension of the post after this time.</p> <p>The post will provide an opportunity to develop clinical skills and competencies working in a specialist service.   <p>The post will specifically focus on providing psychologically informed reviews of clients and carers known to our service and additionally, the collation and analysis of significant volumes of complex audit data.</p> <p>Firstly, your working time will be providing a holistic assessment of client and carer needs and drawing on additional team support or signposting to relevant external agencies. <em>This will be intensive work with clearly defined objectives and expectations.</em></p> <p>Additionally, you will undertake a project to collate over a decade of neuropsychological test data relevant to the assessment and diagnosis of clients, summarise this data and produce reports and papers based on the findings.</p> <p>There may also be additional scope for initial history taking and information gathering of clients who are awaiting further assessment within our assessment and diagnosis pathway.</p> <p>Much of your client contact will be telephone or video based.   <p>We have an exciting preceptorship development position for either a newly qualified Clinical/Counselling Psychologist/CBT therapist looking for a post with potential career progression, OR for an experienced Band 7/8A ready to apply directly for an 8A post.</p> <p>The successful candidate will join our friendly community mental health team, in the Greenwich Early Intervention in Psychosis Service.</p> <p>You will be part of an MDT helping the EIP service support the needs of people experiencing a range of psychosis related difficulties.</p> <p>WE WOULD WELCOME APPLICATIONS FROM CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGISTS WHO ARE IN THEIR FINAL YEAR OF DOCTORAL TRAINING, and those who are looking for the opportunity for career development and wish to build the specialist skills and experience in line with the roles set out below. </p> <p>There will be very close working with the other psychological therapists across EIP, and there will be lots of opportunity for additional support.   <p>As part of the therapy team, you will be providing individual and group interventions, as well as working with families.</p> <p>You will be supporting the wider MDT with psychological perspectives into individuals and families support and care needs.   <p>The successful applicant will be joining the service during an exciting period of service development and transformation.   <p>An opportunity has arisen to work in an exciting and dynamic service providing high intensity psychological interventions for the North Lincs Talking Therapies team.</p>
<p>We are looking for a psychotherapeutic counsellor who has the energy, enthusiasm, and skills to join our team who is committed to making a difference within the RDaSH Talking Therapies service. The service has been well established providing a stepped care, evidenced-based model for the treatment of people with common mental health problems. You will be hard-working and able to meet specified targets, in order to deliver a high quality talking therapies service.</p>
<p><strong>It is essential for applicants to be trained in the NHS Talking Therapies counselling modality Counselling for Depression, and hold relevant registration/accreditation.</strong></p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To provide a qualified specialist psychological therapy service to clients in the modality of Counselling for Depression. This involves providing specialist psychological assessment and therapy, within one or more psychological therapy models specified by the NHS Talking Therapies for anxiety and depression manual.</p>

Qualified High Intensity Therapist (Band 7) - Counsellor

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>Mind Matters Surrey NHS are an innovative IAPT (Talking Therapy) service looking for an enthusiastic and motivated therapist where blended in person and remote working will help you to thrive in our team.</p>
<p>Your role will be delivering evidence-based interventions, one to one and in group settings, to adults (aged 17yrs+) who have a range of Anxiety and Depression related problems.</p>
<p>You'll be joining a strong, supportive team which is part of the Surrey and Borders NHS Partnership. <p>We'd like to hear from you if you are a CBT Therapist that can meet the requirements below:</p>

<li>IAPT Post Graduate Diploma in Psychological therapies</li>
<li>BABCP Provisional/Full Accreditation</li>
<li>Recent evidence of working as a CBT Therapist within IAPT/NHS Talking Therapies</li>
<li>Good IT skills and excellent communication skills and demonstrable ability to work in a collaborative way with colleagues and other services.</li>
<li>There is a requirement to work a minimum of 1 late nights, Mon-Thursday until 8.00pm and to offer 2 in person clinics</li>
<li>In person clinics will be based across Surrey according to service need</li>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul>  <li>Assess clients for suitability for psychological interventions</li>  <li>Formulate, implement and evaluate therapy programmes for clients.</li> </ul> <ul>  <li>Treatment as necessary, conveying CBT and other psychological formulations with sensitivity in easily understood language.</li>  <li>Adhere to an agreed activity contract relating to the number of client contacts offered, and clinical sessions carried out per week in order to minimise waiting times and ensure treatment delivery remains accessible and convenient.</li>  <li>Attend multi-disciplinary meetings relating to referrals or clients in treatment, where appropriate.</li>  <li>Complete all requirements relating to data collection within the service.</li>  <li>Keep coherent records of all clinical activity in line with service protocols</li> </ul> <ul>  <li>Work closely with other members of the team ensuring appropriate step-up and step-down arrangements are in place to maintain a stepped care approach.</li> </ul> <ul>  <li>Assess and integrate issues surrounding work and employment into the overall therapy process</li> </ul> <ul>  <li>Carry out clinical audits of service performance, including service user surveys and evaluations, and help to collate and disseminate the results for feedback.</li> </ul> <ul>  <li>Liaise with other health and social care staff from a range of agencies in the care provided clients.</li> </ul>
