Band 8a Clinical Psychologist - General

We're hiring: Band 8a Psychologist

Location: Uxbridge

Contract: Long-term contract

We're looking for an experienced Band 8a Psychologist to join a well-established service in Uxbridge on a long-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled psychologist seeking a stable role where they can make a meaningful difference while working within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

The role:

  • Provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention

  • Manage a complex caseload and deliver high-quality, evidence-based care

  • Work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to support patient outcomes

  • Offer clinical leadership and specialist advice within the service

  • Contribute to service development, supervision, and quality improvement initiatives

What we're looking for:

  • HCPC-registered Psychologist

  • Previous experience working at Band 8a level or equivalent

  • Strong assessment, formulation, and therapeutic skills

  • Experience managing complex clinical presentations

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and multidisciplinary working skills
