  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Occupational Therapy Assistant rotation.</p>
<p>Staff participate in 6 monthly rotations, upskilling in different clinical specialties and exploring new learning opportunities. Rotational areas include general medicine, care of the elderly, elective and trauma orthopaedics, neurology and surgery.</p>
<p>As a Trust we're committed to supporting the education and development of our staff. There are regular peer support meetings, teaching, and clinical learning frameworks to support specialty learning. We also support applications for substantive staff to complete the Occupational Therapy Degree Apprenticeship where appropriate.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To provide a high standard of care as part of the Occupational Therapy Service working within agreed pathways, but without direct supervision:</p> <p>To manage and prioritise designated caseload, working without direct supervision, carrying out assessment and treatment planning of patients who have not previously been assessed by a qualified therapist.   <p>We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, ambitious and motivated Rotational Senior Radiographer (Band 6) for Core Services Plain X-ray, CT and possible rotation to MRI. The appropriate candidate will have good general radiographic experience, be resilient, flexible and able to demonstrate leadership and clinical supervision skills.   <p>The aim of this role is to provide high quality, effective Imaging services to a wide range of services which are supported by Imaging including General and A&amp;E x-ray, fluoroscopy, theatres and CT. There is also a possibility of rotation to MRI. The post holder will work closely with Radiographers, students and clinical staff of all grades to provide safe, prompt and effective imaging of patients.</p> <p>Patients may be unconscious, un-cooperative, incapacitated, incompetent or with physical or mental disabilities. Some may exhibit anti-social or threatening behaviour. It is necessary to provide empathy and emotional support to the bereaved, terminally ill injured and traumatised.</p> <p>The service operates 24 hours a day 365 days per year.</p>

  <p>As an HCPC registered Allied Health professional, reporting to the Consultant psychological lead for Tower Hamlets, you will supervise the clinical and professional aspects of all arts therapists working in in adult mental health services. Their line management will be held by other colleagues in either inpatient or locality psychology teams. </p> <p>You will ensure that the art therapists are supported to meet resident's needs via group, partnership working and 1:1 work.   <p>Oxleas are seeking to recruit a clinically skilled, innovative and experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to provide clinical and professional leadership across our Intensive Case Management for Psychosis (ICMP), Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP), and Community Mental Health Rehabilitation and Enablement Service (CMHRES) Teams, in the London Brough of Bexley based in Erith. Bexley ICMP is a multi-disciplinary mental health team working within the psychosis pathway within a secondary care community mental health setting.</p> <p>The post holder will work alongside another Principal Psychologist, and Consultant Clinical Psychologist in taking a locality leading role in managing the provision of psychological therapy in the team and join the team manager and consultant psychiatrist in forming the senior clinical team to provide clinical leadership to the ICMP team.</p> <p>The post would be suitable to current 8A's (with at least 3.5 years post qualified experience) or 8B's with relevant experience and transferable skills who have a specialist interest in psychosis.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>A central component of the post will be taking an operational leadership role in further developing the role and remit of psychological therapy in the service. This would encompass support and oversight of referral screening as well as waiting list management, supervision and consultation to the wider team. Service development and innovation are embraced and 3rd sector working, training and working across service transitions would all form aspects of the leadership part of the role.</p> <p>The post will also ensure clinical time for the provision of highly specialised psychological therapy. Specialist training in a particular modality, as well as supervisory training in these, will be highly desirable eg CBTp, FiP, EMDR.</p> <p>The ICMP psychology team is comprised of a band 4 Assistant Psychologist, band 7 and 8a psychological therapists, as well as input from an Art Psychotherapist and Family Therapist, and a borough wide service lead Consultant Psychologist. Doctoral trainee and honorary placement supervision are also encouraged and the services maintain close links with the Salomons DClinPsy Doctoral Program. Supervision of the local psychology team and yearly appraisals (PDR) will also form some of the operational tasks of the post. The new incumbent will also join an established group of senior psychological therapists from across the borough. This is an established leadership forum offering peer support, and links to senior management.</p>
