<p>Join the team at Farmfield Hospital in Charlwood, Surrey as a 0.6FTE&nbsp;Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist.&nbsp;</p>
<p>You will be providing strategic leadership and expert psychiatric leadership and clinical oversight within forensic mental health services, acting as Responsible Clinician under the Mental Health Act and delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care to individuals involved with the criminal justice system.</p>
<p>As a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist, you will take on RC responsibility for male service users on our medium secure wards. The RC will have the support of a non-consultant grade doctor as well as secretarial support.</p>
<p><strong>Where you will be working:</strong></p>
<p>Farmfield Hospital is a 64-bed secure unit with both MSU and LSU wards for male patients. The hospital is purpose built and run by the highly experienced Elysium Healthcare group. The hospital is in the beautiful county of Surrey and has excellent transport links to London and Brighton. Gatwick airport is practically next door!</p>
<p>Working with an established multi-professional team, you will deliver individualised care and have access to a large and supportive peer group of like-minded professionals.</p>
<p><strong>Your responsibilities will include:</strong></p>

    <li>Ensure the adequate working of the Care Programme Approach (CPA) for patients.</li>
    <li>Work constructively with other multi-disciplinary professionals to ensure good patient care and throughput.</li>
    <li>If needed escalate to the Medical Director or Regional Directors any concerns, in relation to the medical staff, within the region. </li>
    <li>Provide clinical leadership to clinical teams including through effective teambuilding and facilitation.</li>
    <li>Contribute to the training, education and development of staff of all disciplines, in particular medical staff.</li>
    <li>Professionally supervise and appraise medical staff as required.</li>
    <li>Ensure the medical and clinical voice is represented in hospital clinical governance meetings.</li>
    <li>Ensure effective and efficient delivery of quality medical services.</li>
    <li>Guide safe and appropriate implementation of Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act in region. </li>
    <li>Liaison with external agencies who are stakeholders in patient care.</li>
    <li>Support compliance with CQC/HIW standards. </li>
</ul>
<p><strong>To be successful as an applicant you’ll need:</strong></p>

<p>We are looking for an experienced and passionate Suicide Bereavement Worker to work at our Surrey Support after Suicide Service.</p><p><strong>This is a Part time Role working 21 hours a week.&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Imagine being part of an organisation whose common purpose is to help those who are severely impacted by mental illness. For those with close personal experience, at least three years must have elapsed since the bereavement. The service aims to support those immediately affected by suicide e.g. close family members including the spouse or partner but also to those who have been exposed to suicide e.g. friends, neighbours, colleagues, witnesses, first responders, neighbours, colleges and health and social care professionals. <h2><strong>Fully remote, full-time internship for aspiring clinical psychologists, psychotherapists and counsellors.</strong></h2><p>Our Clinical Psychology Internship equips aspiring mental health professionals worldwide with essential skills and practical client-facing experience, preparing them for careers in clinical psychology, coaching, psychotherapy, or counselling.</p><p>Interns complete an intensive one-month crash course covering a toolkit of evidence-based techniques from Motivational Interviewing, Coaching, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). They then provide free online, one-to-one coaching to global clients who otherwise lack access to mental health care, initially promoting behaviour change (e.g., diet, sleep, reducing procrastination) and later progressing to clients experiencing depression or anxiety.</p><h3><strong>About Overcome</strong></h3><p>Overcome is a UK-registered charity (Charity Number: 1191308) providing online mental health coaching worldwide, particularly to underserved communities in developing countries. We are a trusted placement provider for leading universities such as UCL, Bath, and Loughborough.</p><h3><strong>Internship Overview</strong></h3><p>This internship is a fully remote, unpaid, full-time (~30 hours/week) role.   <p>Tower Hamlets Talking Therapies (THTT) is one of the leading national Talking Therapies services and we are keen to recruit an experienced Counsellor. The successful candidate will join our dynamic Counselling Therapies team and work alongside other therapists who are trained in a number of different modalities including; person-centred, humanistic, integrative, and psychodynamic. Competently use an electronic patient information and recording system such as IAPTus for recording of all assessment, treatment and supervision sessions, to include inputting clinical outcome measures, recording risk assessment and risk management plans, problem descriptors, and all other specified fields as required by the service and your line manager. Engage with regular clinical, case-management and line-management supervision as specified by your line manager and clinical lead. All supervision will be conducted by a suitably qualified and experienced clinician/manager, employed and supplied by East London NHS Foundation Trust.
