  <p>The dynamic Physiotherapy department at King's College Hospital is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic physiotherapist to join the rotation of Band 6 physiotherapists specialising in respiratory care across inpatient and community settings.</p>
<p>The rotations are eight monthly and are in the following areas:</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>King's College Hospital is a specialist tertiary referral centre for liver disease, neurosurgery, cardio-thoracics, cystic fibrosis, haematology and major trauma. The Trust has recently opened a new 60-bedded critical care unit, allowing the successful candidate a chance to work in an innovatively designed, state-of-the-art critical care unit.</p> <p>The inpatient respiratory team is split into three teams, each with its own Clinical Lead Physiotherapist. The teams are Critical Care, Respiratory Medicine and Cystic Fibrosis. The community services also have their own Clinical Leads, and there is a Consultant Respiratory Physiotherapist in Respiratory Medicine.</p> <p>There is a strong drive to participate in research at Kings, and the Respiratory team regularly submits posters and publications at national and international levels.Continuing professional development is encouraged through the appraisal system, and there is a well-established in-service education programme. Attendance at post-registration courses is supported, and there are comprehensive library and computer facilities on site.</p>

  <p> The provision of a specialist clinical and technical service for patients requiring maxillofacial prosthetic rehabilitation.</p> <p> Responsibility for the development and delivery of high quality Maxillofacial Prosthetic Services at St George's Hospital</p> <p> The development of important working protocols for a wide range of areas including cross-infection and sectional impression procedures.</p> <p> The delivery of specialist teaching in the context of Maxillofacial Prosthetics &amp; Technology to other members of staff, including SHOs, SpRs and consultants. Provide training as required to students on placement.</p> <p> The provision of clinical and technical information regarding the long-term management of medical devices such as obturators, oro-facial prosthesis and care of osseointegrated implants and related parts.</p> <p> The design, manufacture and fitting in the clinic and/or operating theatre of prostheses and appliances, their activation as necessary and the maintenance of the clinical review of custom made medical devices for patients with injuries of all types, including benign or malignant disease, deformities of the cranio-maxillofacial region and other parts of the body.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The aim of this role is to work as a Specialist Cardiac Radiographer responsible for providing high quality, safe and effective Imaging services within both Cardiac MRI and Cardiac Cath Labs, rotation weighted according to service requirements. The post holder will work closely with Medical and nursing staff, Radiographers, students and clinical staff of all grades in the multi-disciplinary team to enable the timely diagnosis and treatment of patients from across the NEL network and further afield, ensuring effective radiation protection and magnet safety at all times.</p>

<p>Are you an experienced CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist looking for either a&nbsp;full time or part time opportunity&nbsp;where you will be part of a supportive and experienced team providing Tier 4 inpatient services to young people with eating disorders?&nbsp;</p>
<p>Join Brighton and Hove Clinic, which is a&nbsp;a specialist Inpatient Eating Disorder service for children and young people aged 12 up to 18 years, and you will be providing evidence-based and focused treatment programmes designed for the individual needs of each young person.</p>
<p>You will be registered on the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with a license to practice with experience of CAMHS Eating Disorders and leading multidisciplinary teams.</p>

Eating Disorder Psychiatrist

			<p>Are you a skilled and motivated psychologist looking to take the next step in your career? If so, there is an exciting opportunity to join an established multidisciplinary team in Hove as an Inpatient Psychologist. The Brighton and Hove Clinic is a specialist inpatient eating disorder unit for children and adolescents.</p>
<p>Reporting directly to the consultant clinical psychologist, you will be responsible for the delivery of evidence-based individual and group interventions, facilitation of formulation meetings and supervision of other members of the psychology team. You will form part of a diverse multi-disciplinary team, with opportunities for joint working, family liaison and systemic interventions. You may also be involved in the facilitation of staff reflective practice sessions; nursing team debriefs and the design and delivery of training to the multi-disciplinary team.</p>
<p>As a psychologist, you will have experience and knowledge in carrying a therapy caseload, including assessing complex needs and designing and delivering specialist psychological treatments to support individualised patient care plans.</p>

<p><strong>As an Inpatient Psychologist you will be:</strong></p>
<ul>
    <li>Providing specialist psychological assessments, and individualised evidence-based psychological interventions for patients with severe eating disorders and complex mental health difficulties.</li>
    <li>Providing evidence-based and formulation-driven psychological perspectives to multidisciplinary risk management, care planning and decision-making.</li>
    <li>Managing a complex caseload as an individual psychological therapist working within a multidisciplinary team, in addition to facilitating group psychological interventions and family/systemic interventions.</li>
    <li>Monitoring clinical progress through regular reviews of psychological treatment.</li>
    <li>Support the collection, analysis and interpretation of standardised outcome measures and patient and family care and experience surveys, to inform clinical decision making and service improvement initiatives.</li>
    <li>Providing high-quality clinical supervision to junior members of the psychology team.</li>
    <li>Supporting staff development through the provision of training, consultation, formulation meetings and reflective practice sessions.</li>
    <li>Contributing to service developments within the therapies team and wider service.</li>
    <li>Receiving regular supervision and line management from the Regional Therapies Lead/Consultant Clinical Psychologist.</li>
    <li>Being professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of clinical work and care.</li>
    <li>Maintaining high standards of care in all areas of practice and in accordance the HCPC Code of Conduct, professional guidelines and Company Policies and Procedures.</li>

<p><strong>To be successful in this role, you’ll need:</strong></p>
<ul>
    <li>Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology (or equivalent if trained overseas).</li>
    <li>Registration with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist.</li>
    <li>We will also consider applicants from newly qualified clinical/counselling psychologists, or from those who are about to qualify (please clearly state in the application when you will receive HCPC registration).</li>
    <li>Knowledge and understanding of eating disorders and related comorbidities (e.g. anxiety, trauma, depression, self-harm), and the impact these on both children and adolescents, and their families.</li>
    <li>Prior experience in eating disorders is desirable but not essential for this position. Experience working with patients in CAMHS settings or with neurodivergence, trauma and personality disorders is also desirable.</li>
    <li>Post qualification training in the specialist application of therapeutic models relevant for working with children and adolescents with eating disorders and other comorbidities (or for newly qualified psychologists an interest in undertaking further specialist training).</li>
    <li>Experience of supervising assistant psychologist or trainee clinical psychologists.</li>
    <li>Experience of exercising full clinical responsibility for patient’s psychological care and treatment as a qualified professional within the context of a multidisciplinary care plan.</li>

<p>Brighton &amp; Hove Clinic provides a CAMHS Tier 4 eating disorder service for young people aged 12 to 18 years with a primary diagnosis of an eating disorder: or those with eating difficulties with other co-occurring conditions such as depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder and self-harming behaviours. Our patients can also present with co-morbid attachment difficulties, ASC (both diagnosed and undiagnosed) and with emotion regulation difficulties. We provide individualised and formulation driven treatment programmes to support children and adolescents to begin their recovery and transition safely back into the community. Interventions include individual therapy, systemic family therapy, occupational therapy, therapeutic and activity groups, meal support sessions and a psychoeducational family support group.</p>
<p>The role is an exciting opportunity to join an established and passionate psychology team (made up of a Consultant clinical psychologist, Highly specialist cognitive-behaviour therapist, Apprentice clinical associate psychologist and Assistant psychologist), whilst also contributing to the development of an individualised and patient-centred service committed to improving clinical practice and effectiveness. The successful candidate will also join a network of eating disorder therapists working across Elysium providing access to CPD, training and peer supervision.</p>

<p>As a CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist employed by Elysium Healthcare but seconded to SABP through the hybrid clinical and operational model, you will deliver an evidence-based and focused treatment plan to support the children and young people, and their families, as they progress through their care plans to understand eating behaviours and restore physical health.&nbsp;</p>
<p>You will work alongside the talented and experienced multidisciplinary team to create tailored treatment programmes to support the individual needs of each young person within a warm and nurturing environment. This will allow you to understand symptoms, patterns and origins of psychological distress.&nbsp;</p>
