  <p>This is a full-time position within Tower Hamlets CAMHS. This is a community-based post located with 6 sessions within our ADHD pathway and 4 sessions within our Triage Team of Tower Hamlets CAMHS. There will also be opportunities for generic and specialist assessments across both teams, and we are happy to support applicants to gain the experience and skills needed to succeed in this role.</p> <p>Tower Hamlets Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is based in Whitechapel, East London. In line with Trust policy, the service has adopted a hybrid clinical working model of direct face-to-face and remote working as appropriate. The service embraces continual improvement and the wellbeing of staff and has a high degree of enthusiasm for quality improvement and working together with partner agencies to provide the highest quality service to the population we serve.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post-holder will be expected to:</p> <ul>  <li>To offer assessment and flexible, evidence-based and outcome focused episodes of care and interventions to children/young people and families within the ADHD pathway. </li>  <li>Within the Triage team, assist our service users in moving smoothly through the referral, treatment and discharge processes within the Tower Hamlets CAMHS service and to and from other services in their designated Borough. They will play a pivotal role in ensuring that families experience ease of entry to and a seamless transition between services, and that they feel supported to access the right service at the right time even when their needs are complex and may involve input from multiple teams. </li>  <li>To have a high degree of professional autonomy and self-management and will be required to account for their professional practice through appraisal and audit.</li> </ul>

You will join a friendly and supportive group of psychologists in the locality and there will be opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills through CPD. The trust has an enviable care pathways system which values Psychology, Psychotherapy and the Arts Psychotherapies. There are opportunities to train in DBT, CBT for psychosis, family interventions, CBT for personality disorders and structured clinical management.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p><strong>Variety:</strong> You will have the chance to work with a wide range of complex presentations including affective disorders, psychosis, and personality, and using a variety of methods and approaches. With assessments, individual therapies, group therapies, family interventions, MDT working, complex case meetings, indirect interventions using a Positive Behaviour Support framework, and supervision all part of the role, it's safe to say that no two days will feel the same! Many of our Psychologists in acute services find that the switching really helps to stay energised.</p>
<p><strong>Fast-paced:</strong> You will get to be reflexive; formulating problems, identifying with teams when attempted solutions create a new or different problem, and supporting teams to remove barriers to discharge and supporting people to have an independent and personally meaningful life outside of hospital. <p><strong>Autonomy:</strong> Acute Inpatient Psychologists can personalise and tailor the role of Psychology for their wards.</p>

  <p>As an HCPC registered Allied Health professional, reporting to the Consultant psychological lead for Tower Hamlets, you will supervise the clinical and professional aspects of all arts therapists working in in adult mental health services.   <p>You will be part of the friendly, inclusive and supportive ILDS Psychology team. You will work directly with people with learning disabilities and their networks to deliver assessments and arts therapy interventions as part of a cohesive multi-disciplinary team. In addition you will provide consultation and training to other providers. This is a new role, so we hope that you will be able to share information about the value and impact of arts therapies with colleagues and those who draw on ILDS services. As part of the role there will be opportunities to participate in innovative research and service development projects - creativity and flexibility are definitely encouraged! You will receive regular supervision and the service is committed to continuous professional development with access to internal and external training opportunities.</p>

  <p>We are looking for a<strong>Band 7 Senior Nurse</strong>to provide clinical leadership, treatment and therapy with a clear focus on clinical risk and its management. The successful candidate will need to influence, lead and motivate staff at all levels within the clinical environment to deliver high quality care according to Trust values, to provide expertise, support and advice regarding all aspects of clinical care including implementing evidence based best practice.</p> <p>Working with people with an eating disorder can be both challenging and rewarding and we are looking for aSenior Nursewho will support the Clinical Team Manager and staff to deliver safe and high-quality care for this complex patient group.</p> <p>This is an exciting time for our Adult Eating Disorder Service, we have an established FREED Pathway and we are also participating in regional pilot projects (Virtual Intensive Treatment and Intensive Clinical Support) whilst also developing our SEED Pathway.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This role is offered on a permanent basis with the potential for flexibility in working hours and some remote working with the base being either Bury St Edmunds or Ipswich but with the expectation that you will work across both areas.</p> <p>The post holder will be an experienced Eating Disorder practitioner who, acting within their own professional boundaries, will provide care for adult service users with eating disorders. Supporting the Clinical Team Manager and leadership team, the post holder will actively participate in the day to day clinical and operational management of the Adult Eating Disorders Team within the locality, be part of a multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the development of the services they support. They will demonstrate safe clinical decision-making, and sound clinical expertise and knowledge of eating disorders and their treatments. The post holder will support the leadership team to meet the needs of the service users and contribute to service improvements and supervision of other members of the team.</p>
