  <p>This key Band 7 clinical role is offered at full time, although we would also welcome applicants seeking part-time positions. You need to be a BABCP accredited cognitive behavioural psychotherapist, either with demonstrable skills in working with the CYP client group, or an ability to transfer across from adult work. We would particularly welcome applicants from minoritized backgrounds and those that actively demonstrate an interest in increasing young peoples' participation in shaping CAMHS delivery.</p> <p>Our team has strong links to universities and researchers. A key advantage of working in secondary care is the chance to work alongside and learn from highly specialist nurses, psychiatrists, psychologists and psychotherapists. Within Sussex CAMHS we have a strong psychology and CBT team. You will be well-supported with training and CPD, and opportunities for career development.</p> <p>We operate a pathways model and you would hold some clinical lead responsibilities within these, including decision-making around treatment options. We would expect the therapist to be conversant with IAPT principles, and practiced in using ROMS and disorder specific outcome measures as part of evaluation and of their work, as well as part of ongoing team audit. It would also be helpful if the therapist has demonstrated experience of offering training and consultation to other professionals within and outside the team as necessary. </p>

  <p>As a member of the CAMHS team, you would participate in the core multi-disciplinary assessment and intervention work of the team, and engage in multi-agency liaison work as necessary. You would also be required to participate in the supervision, training and the overall governance requirements of SPFT CAMHS.</p> <p>You'd part of a very busy but lively and welcoming CAMHS team, which offers a wide range of individual, group and systemic interventions, and is involved in a number of innovative evaluation and research projects and service developments.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul>  <li>Assess clients for suitability for psychological interventions</li>  <li>Formulate, implement and evaluate therapy programmes for clients.</li> </ul> <ul>  <li>Treatment as necessary, conveying CBT and other psychological formulations with sensitivity in easily understood language.</li>  <li>Adhere to an agreed activity contract relating to the number of client contacts offered, and clinical sessions carried out per week in order to minimise waiting times and ensure treatment delivery remains accessible and convenient.</li>  <li>Attend multi-disciplinary meetings relating to referrals or clients in treatment, where appropriate.</li>  <li>Complete all requirements relating to data collection within the service.</li>  <li>Keep coherent records of all clinical activity in line with service protocols</li> </ul> <ul>  <li>Work closely with other members of the team ensuring appropriate step-up and step-down arrangements are in place to maintain a stepped care approach.</li> </ul> <ul>  <li>Assess and integrate issues surrounding work and employment into the overall therapy process</li> </ul> <ul>  <li>Carry out clinical audits of service performance, including service user surveys and evaluations, and help to collate and disseminate the results for feedback.</li> </ul> <ul>  <li>Liaise with other health and social care staff from a range of agencies in the care provided clients.</li> </ul>

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Band 8a Child &amp; Adolescent Psychotherapist to join our multi disciplinary dynamic CAMHS service. Consideration will also be given too newly qualified child and adolescent Psychotherapist for whom this would be a development post moving to a Band 8a following 2 years post qualification.</p> <p>The role of the Child &amp; Adolescent Psychotherapist is to ensure delivery and development of a high-quality specialist assessment and intervention underpinned by a psycho-analytical framework to compliment the range of psychological/therapeutic services within the multi-disciplinary service.</p> <p>We offer a specialist service to families and young people through face-to-face contacts or indirectly by liaising closely with statutory and voluntary organisations. The Child &amp; Adolescent Psychotherapist will provide assessment, consultation, training, groups and individual interventions for parents/carers and infants, young children and their families and clinical supervision.</p> <p>Postholders will demonstrate an attitude which respects and values service users' and their carers and have a clear understanding of professional boundaries.   <p>The successful applicant will be joining the service during an exciting period of service development and transformation.   <p>We are currently recruiting for exciting opportunities to join Turning Point and be part of our highly successful and innovative Talking Therapies service.</p><p>Total Wellbeing Luton is an integrated Talking Therapies service combining healthy lifestyles and emotional health programmes provided in partnership with Active Luton and we are looking for a qualified High Intensity CBT Team Leader / Step 3 team Leader to join the team.</p><p>The service in Luton provides person-centered, holistic and accessible wellbeing services which are flexible and creative, easy to access and navigate and responsive to the needs of local people. The service contributes to tackling inequalities in health through promoting and supporting people to develop healthier behaviours and lifestyles in the context of their own local communities.</p><p>As well as supporting the community with improving their physical and emotional heath, we also prioritise our staff wellbeing.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will join our team in Luton, working in and around the district, where we specialize in evidence-based psychological therapies. Alongside vast experience of working within Mental Health, you will also have experience of leading and managing teams with a proven ability to develop good therapeutic relationships with clients and working relationships with your colleagues.</p><p>You will also manage your own caseload and inspire your team to meet both service and individual targets, having an IAPT Supervision Course under your belt would be helpful too, but not essential.</p><p>In addition to talking therapies, we offer healthy lifestyle programmes including NHS stop smoking, health checks, and exercise on referral, social prescription, weight management and support with physical activity for people with long term health conditions.</p>
