  <p>Applications are invited for a Clinical / Applied Psychologist or Accredited Psychological Therapist. You will be an integral member of the Mid and North Hampshire Division's psychological therapies team. The post will be based in Basingstoke CMHT. Applicants should have a desire to embrace MDT working, training and team development. This post offers the opportunity to influence best clinical practice and the development of a psychologically informed and recovery focused CMHT.</p><p>We are seeking an enthusiastic clinician who has specialist interest and experience in working psychologically with trauma. The post holder will provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy individually and through group programmes as well as offering advice, consultation, reflective practice, clinical formulation and training to staff within the multidisciplinary teams. Evaluation of interventions and the impact of the service in terms of benefit to clients is an important component of what we strive to do. The post holder will require specialist knowledge and experience in the application of at least one psychological therapy (CBT, DBT, CAT).</p>

  <p>The Mid and North Hampshire Psychological Therapies Team is a thriving active team of psychologists and psychological therapists working within primary care, secondary care, EIP and acute and crisis teams. We are dedicated to delivering superb quality, evidence-based interventions. We pride ourselves on contributing to the development and implementation of innovative interventions. The range of psychologically focused therapies we deliver include Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and EMDR. This is a new post, and the post holder will join an established psychological therapies team, with access to high quality supervision and support.</p><p>The Trust has strong links with Southampton University, particularly with the Doctoral Programme in Clinical Psychology, the MSc/Diploma in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy for Severe Mental Health Problems and training courses for IAPT.   <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for two enthusiastic, hardworking, motivated, and patient-focused Band 5 Diagnostic Radiographers to join our friendly radiology team. This post would suit a newly-qualified radiographer or a third year student about to qualify.</p>
<p>The Hillingdon Hospital Radiology Department is undergoing a transformation with the procurement of new equipment. We have recently added a new GE EVO CT scanner, brand new OPG machine with cone beam CT and 2x plain film DR rooms. In addition, a state of the art breast imaging unit has been built at Mount Vernon Hospital.</p>
<p>During your first two years working with us you will not only be able to consolidate and develop your general radiographic skills but also acquire basic competencies in CT.</p>
<p>Opportunities to train in MRI and US are open to all staff, these posts are awarded on merit, not experience.</p>
<p>The radiology department is committed to developing their radiographers and we positively encourage and support extended roles and post graduate training. Currently we have radiographers undertaking Post graduate Certificates in ultrasound, a radiographer led HSG and PICC line insertion service and reporting radiographers providing musculo-skeletal reporting.</p>
<p>Our services are provided on two sites at the Hillingdon and Mount Vernon Hospitals.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will be expected to participate in the radiographer shift rota and the out of hours duties on both sites. Main duties include:</p>

<li>To produce images of diagnostic quality that are properly identified with regard to patient's name, side examined, date of examination etc., in line with trust and departmental protocols.</li>
<li>Be adequately trained in the safe and competent use of equipment prior to operating it.</li>

<li>Use knowledge and skill to adapt your radiographic technique for complicated cases.</li>
<li>Be responsible for the welfare and comfort of patients in the department.</li>
<li>Assist with the training and supervision of student radiographers, assistant practitioners and radiographic assistants.</li>

  <p>We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Events Manager to join our Care Team at Shooting Star Childrens Hospices.</p><p>Shooting Star Childrens
Hospices provides specialist care and support to families who have a baby,
child or young person with a life-limiting condition, or whose child has died.
Rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission, we support families across
Surrey, north west London and south west London from diagnosis to end of life
and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and
medical care.</p><p>Our
Care Events Team provide an extensive programme of groups and events for the 800
life limited children, their families and bereaved families. There are themed
family events, social groups for siblings of different ages, pamper days for
mums, counselling groups, bereavement cafe, memorial days and many festive
events such as ice skating at Hampton Court. Taking place at our hospices and
in the communities we serve, there are 5 to 6 events each week, offering important
opportunities for families to make memories together.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The
Care Events Manager is responsible for the delivery and oversight of the annual programme of events. The Care Event Manager
leads the <em>Care Events Team</em>, including an Events Assistant, Events
Management Intern, Counsellor and care events volunteers, and working with family
support workers, childrens therapists and counsellors to deliver an incredible
programme of creative and inclusive experiences. The Care Events Manager works
alongside the Lead Therapist and Lead Counsellor to ensure that family support
at Shooting Star Childrens Hospices is everything the children and families
need it to be.</p><p>At a weekly meeting, the team are made aware of children
and family members who are struggling and think together about where they might
benefit from the opportunity to spend time with others who share similar
experiences or receive group therapy. Utilising professional events management
skills, each event is planned meticulously to be a safe and inviting space.
Providing this opportunity for families is integral to their mental wellbeing.</p>

  <p>We are looking for two enthusiastic Senior Paediatric Audiologists to join ourexpanding team in Hounslow. There is one full time role (37.5 hours) and one parttime role (30 hours) available.You will work as an autonomous practitioner in the assessment, diagnosis,treatment and evaluation of a diverse caseload.Your role will require you to carry out a range of comprehensive audiologicalassessments and provide habilitation to our paediatric population including thosewith complex needs.You will need to have experience in working in a paediatric setting and beregistered with the Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS).We have a number of sites across Hounslow that you will be expected to workfrom;- Heart of Hounslow Centre for Health- Feltham Centre for Health- Chiswick Health CentreWe are an IQIPS accredited Community Paediatric Audiology Service.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Clinical responsibilities:o Provision of a range of comprehensive audiological assessments andhearing aid provision to the paediatric population including children withcomplex needs.o Effective and supportive communication with parents and professionals.o Support efficient service deliveryo To organise and provide hearing assessments for children with specialneeds in schools.o Assist in gathering departmental performance data, developing clinicalpathways and efficient working of patient management systems such asAuditbase.o To be responsible for the referral process onwards from the department toother agencies i.e. GPs, ENT, Paediatricians etc.o To supervise junior members of staff; support in their training anddevelopment.Service Delivery Responsibilities:o To support the Team Lead and Clinical Service Manager in maintainingIQIPS accreditation.</p> <p>o To participate in audit programmes, on-going development of newtechniques and technology within the department.o To ensure that a family friendly approach permeates all contact betweenaudiology services and Deaf/ Hard of Hearing children and their families inown practice and junior staff.o To deal with all equipment faults including arranging repair in line withdepartmental and manufacturers guidelines.o To maintain stock levels, records and stock taking.</p>
