  <p>***Only applicants with an existing Education Mental health Practitioner Qualification will be considered***</p> <p>Wigan Mental Health Support Team (MHST) in schools is designed to help meet the mental health needs of children and young people in education settings. Wigan MHST is made up of senior clinicians and higher-level therapists, and Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs).</p> <p>The Education Mental Health Practitioner role supports school staff to feel confident in recognising and responding to emerging mental health difficulties. Wigan MHST works with the mental health support services that already exist, such as counsellors, educational psychologists, Startwell, targeted youth support, Wigan Family Welfare, school nurses, pastoral care staff and educational welfare officers.</p> <p>Our Band 5 Education Mental Health Practitioner will be offered regular clinical and case management supervision to support our MHST core functions;</p> <p>Delivering evidence-based interventions for children and young people with mild to-moderate mental health problems.</p> <p>Supporting the senior mental health lead in each education setting to introduce or develop their whole school/college approach.</p> <p>Giving timely advice to school and college staff, and liaising with external specialist services, to help children and young people to get the right support and stay in education</p>

  <p>The Mental Health Practitioner will be an integral part of the MHST in Bolton.   <p>Our Clinical Support Workers for the Community Liver Health Checks programme support the roll out of an exciting new pilot project providing community screening of people in hard-to-reach groups for cirrhosis. This project aims to identify people currently using local alcohol and drug services or other community services and engage them in screening for cirrhosis, offering interventions to help their liver health. This project will aim to provide patients with support to attend screening and provide direct to patient incentives to encourage attendance at screening.</p> <p>The post holder will work closely with the Hepatology Service at MRI and the Infectious Diseases outreach service at community sites, with the community outreach work coordinated strategically by the Greater Manchester Viral Hepatitis Operational Delivery Network (ODN).</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post will be working in the community with a base at Manchester Royal Infirmary and the post holder will work operationally with the Operational Delivery Network for Greater Manchester and Eastern Cheshire.</p>
<p>The role entails blood tests and performing fibroscans (a type of ultrasound for assessing liver health - full training will be given), delivery of results and engaging patients found to be cirrhotic in preventative health care to encourage them to attend for further hospital screening and offering them health promotion advice. The role holder will work closely with our partners in drug services, probation services, homeless services, and primary care. This will include programmes with existing peer support schemes available within those organisations and the voluntary sector.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are looking for a well motivated, committed and enthusiastic part time individual, to join our friendly and progressive team. We offer diagnostic and rehabilitative services to both Adults and Paediatrics including Newborn Hearing Screening. The role will provide support as part of our busy Admin team, provide basic hearing aid support for patients and their families when required and perform an assisting role in the audiological assessment of predominantly pre-school children. An aptitude for working with children is required. Training will be provided within the department for use of our Audiology database, providing the assisting role in assessments and basic hearing aid support.</p>
<p>We are committed to providing peer support and career development. We have close links with Leeds and Aston University regarding student placement and training.</p>
  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will both support the administrative function of the service including dealing with patients/carers and their families face to face, on the telephone and via email and assist in paediatric hearing assessment appointments with full training. This will included managing the patient booking system, dealing with patient referrals and processing appointments. The post holder will also be providing basic hearing aid support when required. The post holder will work within a range of procedures and pathways in which they have received training in order to become competent.</p>

Shifts will be allocated within these times, and flexibility is essential to meet service needs.   <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated peer mentor to join our community mental health service in the Wigan Borough called Living Well. The Living Well Service enables timely access to mental health services and provides support for people who might not traditionally meet the threshold or criteria of existing mental health services. The team is multidisciplinary and works in partnership with local VCFSE organisations.The role of Peer Mentor has been developed specifically for people who have lived experience of mental health or a dual diagnosis such as mental health and substance misuse/Learning Difficulties/Autism to support others who may benefit from peer support in addition to othertreatment and interventions.You will be supported by members of the leadership team including a peer mentor co-ordinator, team leader, operational programme manager and clinical lead. CPD opportunities are available and personal interests/skills will be supported to develop and grow. We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic people to join our team due to expansion within the service.</p> <p>The children's packages of care team sits within the Children's Complex Needs Nursing Service and delivers packages of care to children within the Lancashire and South Cumbria Foundation trust.</p> <p>This role includes shift work, including nights/weekends. We would also consider someone who only wanted to work night shifts as a shift pattern.</p> <p>You will require a valid UK driving licence or have access to a vehicle for work purposes or be able to travel between community settings in a timely manner. This is essential in order to travel across the geographical footprint required within the service. Bases are both at Burnley and Preston with packages of care across Lancashire.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>HCSWs within this team are lone workers, taking full responsibility for the care of children with complex needs after receiving comprehensive training. This could be caring for a child overnight in their own home, while parents are sleeping, accompanying a child to school and meeting their needs during the school day or working with another HCSW/nurse to give parents a complete break.</p>
<p>Following training and competency assessment, HCSWs will be able to independently care for children with tracheostomies, gastrostomies, require medications, oxygen therapy amongst other medical needs.</p>
<p>Shift times vary dependant on the child's needs and HCSWs are expected to work a mixture of days, nights, and weekend shifts, these can be anytime over the 24 hour period.</p>
