<p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work alongside the Director for Psychological Professions and the Psychological Professions Workforce and Innovation Lead, on projects associated with the ongoing development of the psychological professions here at Lancashire &amp; South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust.</p>
<p>The role will involve working on a range of projects, supporting the current priorities, primarily related to workforce developments. We will support the successful applicant to access the pre-registered psychology peer network, which is provided within the Trust.</p>
<p>The post will provide valuable experience, insight and preparation for next steps into a Psychological Professions career.</p>
<p>Whilst the post is largely focused on project work, there will be also be clinically focused opportunities within the Trust's psychological services for approximately one day per week.</p>

Where required, you will also work with those individuals who require a higher level of psychological intervention. As part of the role you will be accredited or working towards accreditation, and have a higher level qualification in CBT or EMDR or be completing relevant training.</p><p>The role also involves providing immediate emotional support and guidance to callers via our 24/7 helpline - completing clinical assessments and signposting appropriately.
