  <p>We are looking to recruit an Assistant Psychologist to work with a friendly, lively, supportive, innovative and inspiring team, with a good track record of Assistant's progressing in their career both within Clinical Psychology and other relevant fields.</p> <p>You will join a department of 3 Assistants, 2 trainee Clinical Associates in Psychology, a trainee CBT therapist and 7 qualified Clinical Psychologists, collectively covering the Memory Assessment Pathway, Community Mental Health Planned and Unplanned Pathways and Inpatient Services. The post will be based in the East (Lichfield and Tamworth) though there will be times where the role requires you to travel between, or input into, different MPFT sites, and includes working from home when required with equipment provided by the Trust. There will be plenty of opportunity for peer support and clinical supervision.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>All clinical activities will be under the close clinical supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist within the Planned pathway of our Community Mental Health Service. You will have a significant role in delivering elements of service individually or in groups for Service Users such as anxiety management, graded exposure and emotions programme. You will, where appropriate, contribute to the clinical assessment of service users. You will also contribute to the assessment, formulation and intervention within care homes where there are indications the care home staff are finding it difficult to understand and/or meet the person's emotional needs as that individual's ability to communicate their needs deteriorates. There maybe times when you are required to conduct audits or service evaluation to assist with the development of the psychology and wider service. The Assistant Psychologist may be involved with training staff, delivering groups, using outcome measures and evaluating the effectiveness of the interventions delivered. Administrative duties will include the maintenance of referral databases using excel, SharePoint and OneNote.</p>

  <p>This is a truly exciting time as we change what we do and how we deliver community mental health services. This newly integrated CMH team is developing a pathway for people with psychosis and an enhanced pathway for people with psychosis where meaningful engagement can be a challenge. You will work closely with senior colleagues across our teams and localities on team and service development whilst providing psychological interventions to people with greatest complexity. </p> <p>We want you to feel supported within your role and we are keen see our psychologists flourish and develop with training in Family Interventions (BFT), CBT for Psychosis (CBTp) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for example. We also have access to the Bespoke training platform and an excellent psychological skills development team.</p>

  <p>We are seeking to recruit a full-time Band 8a Senior Applied Psychologist in Adult Community Mental Health (Planned Care) at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHFT).   <p>In partnership with Derby University, 4 successful candidates will be offered a full-time educational programme, funded at NHS Agenda for Change (AfC) Band 4 level, gaining credits towards a Post-Graduate Diploma qualification, plus employment on successful completion of training, with a starting salary projected to be on the NHS Band 5 scale. These posts will cover the Seisdon area and be based within Seisdon.</p>  <p>All applicants must demonstrate in their application the ability to work at degree level or have an equivalent level of relevant experience, with a proven record of previous learning or formal study in child development, wellbeing or mental health.   <p>Ultrasound in Worcestershire is
sonographer led and as a result we are forward looking promoting career

however you may be expected to work at any site within the Trust as the service
requires. We currently provide an USS service at Evesham Community
Hospital &amp; Kidderminster Treatment Centre which forms part of the
Worcestershire Community Diagnostic Centre.</p><p>All WAHNHST hospitals utilise
state of the art Samsung RS8EVO equipment.</p><p>All departments cover a wide
range of general, obstetric, gynae, some vascular and small parts USS exams.</p><p>CPD is encouraged and supported
with regular cross county Ultrasound audit meetings and designated
e-learning/mandatory training time.</p><p>We offer a flexible working week
with negotiable hours to suit both you and the department. Participation in our
weekend/Bank Holiday ultrasound rota is

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The successful candidates will be
joining a motivated workforce that welcomes new challenges as we work together
to provide the very best care and service for our patients. Qualified
Sonographers/Midwife Sonographers with CASE approved qualifications are welcome
to apply.</p><p>1. To regularly undertake and
provide comprehensive, independently written reports on, a wide range of
ultrasound examinations to a standard acceptable to the service. To draw
conclusions from the ultrasound findings and recommend further investigations.</p><p>2. To communicate highly
complex information regarding diagnosis / treatment directly with Clinicians
and patients within a multidisciplinary team.</p><p>3. To give a clear explanation
to patients regarding Ultrasound examinations including risks, benefits,
accuracy and limitation, in order to gain informed consent within an ethical
and moral framework.</p><p>4. To work within, and adhere
to, Standards and Operational Policies relating to the provision of a quality
Imaging service. To ensure that these Standards and Operational Policies are
adhered to by more junior staff.</p><p>5. To work within, and contribute

  <p>We have 33 theatres across both Coventry and Rugby sites. As a level one major trauma centre we provide 24/7 emergency and trauma surgery and take polytrauma patients from around the region. We perform state of the art Robotic surgery for the previously inoperable, are a regional centre for neurosurgery and specialise in cardiac and renal transplant surgery.</p>
