  <p>We are proud to be developing new roles for Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioners to join our experienced workforce in Hertfordshire.</p>
<p>The post holder will have a desire to develop their skills in working with adults with severe and enduring mental illness, some of whom will have not had previous access to psychologically informed interventions.</p>
<p>The post-holder will work collaboratively with service users, their families, carers, and multi-disciplinary team members to provide assessment, care planning and coordination of care, supporting collaborative decision-making about care and treatment.</p>
<p>The post holder will support the delivery of a set of wellbeing-focused psychologically informed interventions, aligned to cognitive-behavioural principles, based on the best evidence available, that address problems often experienced by people with severe mental health problems under the supervision of a clinical/counselling psychologist or CBT therapist, where this is identified in personalised care planning and support.</p>

  <p>Mental Health Support Teams in Schools (MHSTs) are an exciting development, located in schools and AFC offices.   <p>This is a community-based post, located within the CAMHS in Social Care Team (CISC) here in Tower Hamlets. The team are based across the CAMHS Emanuel Miller Centre in Limehouse as well as the Local Authority Town Hall in Whitechapel. The CiSC team offers accessible, flexible, timely and responsive CAMHS input to children, young people and their families who are subject to Social Care plans (LAC, CP or CIN).</p> <p>It is a multidisciplinary team offering consultation to Social Worker and the wider children's workforce as well as assessment, care planning and clinical intervention to the children and families that they work with where there are mental health concerns. The post holder will require a high degree of professional autonomy and self-management and will be required to account for their professional practice through appraisal and audit.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We have an exciting opportunity for<strong>two</strong> full time, permanent, band 7 clinical or counselling psychologists to join Barts Heart and Thorax Centre Psychological Services based at St Bartholomew's Hospital.</p> <p>The successful applicant will join a friendly and supportive group of psychological professionals at St Bartholomew's Hospital including practitioner psychologists and an art therapist. You will be able to access funded CPD and receive specialist group supervision (e.g. ACT, CFT, Narrative therapy and EMDR) alongside individual supervision.</p> <p>We operate within a mixed model, i.e. embedded within medical teams with centralised referral allocation and discussion so that workload can be shared evenly between clinicians and allocated according to skill mix and case complexity. The band 7 postholder will pick up referrals from specialist teams across the Barts Heart Centre and will work closely with the clinical pathway leads as well as the consultant service lead, allowing for a good balance of autonomy and support in line with their stage in career development. These posts are varied and exciting roles with lots of opportunity for service development and research as well as providing specialist psychological input through direct work (with inpatients and outpatients) and indirect work through consultation to the wider multidisciplinary team.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Barts Heart and Thorax Centre (BHTC) Psychological Services is for with adult patients and their families who live with an acute or chronic cardiac or respiratory condition and those who require a critical care admission (predominantly cardio-thoracic and cancer related). </p> <p>Specifically these patients are under the care of specialist multidisciplinary teams within the Barts Heart and Thorax Centre, including the Congenital Cardiology Service, the Heart Attack Centre (HAC); the Adult Critical Care Unit (ACCU); Heart Failure, Electrophysiology, and Inherited Cardiovascular Conditions. </p> <p>Although the post holder will not be directly working with the following teams these are also covered by the broader service: Difficult Asthma and Cystic Fibrosis.   <p>We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and creative qualified Children and Young Person's Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) to join Lambeth Child &amp; Adolescent Mental Heath Services (CAMHS).</p>
<p>This CWP role supports the government's priority of increasing access to and availability of mental health and well-being support for children and young people. The post holder will demonstrate an active interest in early intervention, clinical work in community settings, collaborative practice and be skilled in delivering low intensity interventions informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. </p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The Child and Youth Wellbeing Team in Lambeth provides support for mild to moderate difficulties using evidence based guided self-help interventions to both parents and young people. This is an exciting time for the team as we are expanding and developing new ways of working, with a focus on developing links within the community. In addition to the low intensity face to face manualised interventions, the post holder will provide psycho education, specific groups and signposting of more complex cases. The team are also embedded within the wider Lambeth CAMHS service and CWP members have the opportunity to join meetings, reflective practice groups and clinical skills training with staff across Lambeth CAMHS.</p> <p>The Child and Youth Wellbeing Team consists of clinical service leads (job share), a CBT Therapist, a Recruit to Train Trainee CBT Therapist, 3 qualified CWPs and 2 Trainee CWPs. The team is part of a friendly and nurturing local CAMHS team, where there are good training opportunities with a supportive leadership team. Lambeth CAMHS has good links to local social care, education, and voluntary services as well as National and Specialist CAMHS and our teaching and research colleagues within KCL. <h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>This role offers a rare and exciting opportunity to be part of the radiotherapy/proton beam therapy review team at UCLH. The post holder will undertake rotations between the photon and proton departments. The role involves working and leading within the Radiotherapy Review Team; reviewing patients during their treatment and supporting them both physically and psychologically throughout their radiotherapy journey. They will be required to ensure there is an appropriate plan for the on-treatment review of each patient and a mechanism of communication to the wider MDT. The post holder will play a key role in helping patients understand the treatment process, toxicity and likely side effects of radiotherapy, along with providing them with advice on how to self-care and manage their symptoms appropriately. Any proton beam therapy or photon beam thearpy training required relating to managing side effects of this treatment and other required underpinning knowledge will be provided. Training for on treatment review and independent/supplementary prescribing if required will be supported.The photon department is equipped with Varian TrueBeam systems and a Halcyon with advanced imaging packages and 6DoF couches. The department has a comprehensive brachytherapy suite and a Gulmay skin unit. UCLH is one of only two NHS sites delivering proton beam therapy across the NHS.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To work with Review Radiographers, Radiotherapy Sisters, Charge Nurses and Staff Nurses, leading as part of the review team.To review patient's during their course of photon or proton treatment and to support them both physically and psychologically throughout their treatment.To ensure there is an appropriate plan for the on-treatment review of each patient and a mechanism of communication of untoward effectsTo lead on service evaluations, audits and projects under a quality improvement framework within the scope of the Review TeamTo leave in teaching, development and appraisal of members of the Review TeamTo help patients understand the treatment process, toxicity and likely side effects of radiotherapy both during and after treatment. Patients should be encouraged to report side effects and advised how to manage symptoms appropriately.To ensure patients' side effects are treated appropriately and efficiently.To give verbal and written information if required.To enable them to discuss any concerns they may have and to feel supported during their treatment.To refer patients as necessary to other health care professionals e.g. dieticians, counsellors etc. and community agencies as needed.To ensure that appropriate follow up arrangements are made and continuity of care communicated to the patient and any other appropriate health care profession. </p>
