Are you a Consultant Psychiatrist with experience working with people in inpatient settings who may be treated under the Mental Health Act provisions? Are you interested / experienced in providing treatment for women who may have suffered trauma and are affected by mental disorders? If so, then join the team at Spring Wood Lodge hospital!</p>
<p>This permanent Consultant Psychiatrist position (37.5 hours per week) will see you join the established multidisciplinary team at Spring Wood Lodge. The service has 21 beds across two wards in a locked rehabilitation setting providing treatment for women with mental disorders including personality disorders. The wards are well supported by a full complement of multidisciplinary team.&nbsp;</p>
<p>You will act as a Consultant / Responsible Clinician for patients in this setting. You will have CCT in General Adult or Forensic psychiatry and experience of working with and leading multidisciplinary teams.&nbsp; You will be part of an environment that specialises in providing rehabilitation utilising positive behavioural support principles and empowering service users in their recovery.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Spring Wood Lodge is located in the outskirts of Leeds at Guiseley and has close links to NHS services with established care pathways. It has excellent transport links to Bradford, Leeds and is within a short distance of Yorkshire Dales National Park.</p>

We provide training, clinical supervision and access to a peer support network. </p><p>This role is crucial in supporting the Registered Nurses on an evening to enable patients to remain at home and avoid hospital admission.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will support the Registered Nurse, responding to intervention call outs between the hours of 5pm and 10pm. You may also work alongside a colleague and visit patients to deliver planned care.</p><p>You must have excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.

It would be expected that you are available to work on a rota over 7 evenings per week, 365 days per year. Your hours of work will be 17:00pm - 22:00pm.</p><p>The role is based from Hunslet Health Centre, though it is expected that you travel across the city of Leeds during your shift, to deliver patient care.</p><p>The contract is for a minimum of 10 hours (2 evenings) up to a maximum of 30 hours (6 evenings). The successful candidate will be based working across 3 wards at Forest Close. You will take a key role in supporting and implementing compassionate, high-quality, evidence-based care , with opportunities to be innovative and influential and will develop your formulation and consultation skills in addition to direct clinical work, service development and leadership.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post will suit a candidate who has experience and interest in working with people with severe, chronic and complex mental health difficulties within a multidisciplinary team and who can offer both direct and indirect work with service users, their families/carers and staff.</p> <p>You will be involved in offering team formulation, reflective practice, teaching &amp; training.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>ou will be a registered staff nurse and have excellent assessment, planning and evaluation skills to deliver clinical care to patients and support our Nursing Assistants.
You will coordinate and manage care ensuring that all calls are effectively assessed, triaged, allocated and recorded. You will have an overview of the service as a whole to ensure that patients and staff remain safe and care is appropriate and effective overnight. E.g. re-allocating work to cover unexpected staff absence.  At times you will be expected to work clinically and deliver direct patient care, though the majority of your role will be clinical triage via telephone. 
You must have excellent communication, organisational and IT skills as you will be coordinating care for a large number of complex patients.
You will provide clinical leadership, including line management of Band 5 Staff Nurses, and oversee line management of our Band 3 Nursing Assistants.
You must be able to think on your feet, problem solve and juggle conflicting priorities as well as motivate others in challenging times and utilise the resources available to you effectively.
The hours of work are 17:00pm-22:00pm over 7 days a week (including bank holidays).  The role is based from Hunslet Health Centre, though it is expected that you could travel across the city of Leeds during your shift to deliver patient care. 
It would be expected that you are available to work on a rota over 7 evenings per week, 365 days per year.
