  <ul>  <li>To work as a member of a countywide Eating Disorders Service across Hertfordshire.</li>  <li>To supervise and support our band 6 dietitian within CEDS</li>  <li>To undertake a comprehensive dietetic assessment of eating disorder service users including those with diverse or highly complex presentation/multiple pathologies in order to identify their nutritional problems and needs and ensure that a holistic approach is taken.   <p>MHSTs are a national initiative that is intended to provide children, families and school staff with increased access to mental health support. Camden MHST was first launched in January 2019 and provide a school based mental health service that works across Camden Primary and Secondary Schools as well as community hubs and clinics. Our service aims to promote and support child mental health through early intervention; that is before mental health difficulties arise, or when there are mild to moderate concerns relating to a young person's emotions, relationships and/or behaviour.</p> <p>To achieve our aims, we offer brief evidence-based approaches through universal (e.g. whole school approach), targeted (e.g. class or small group intervention) and individual therapeutic interventions.The national initiative emphasises the importance of a whole school approach with recognition of the central role that environment plays in fostering good wellbeing and positive outcomes for young people.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will hold a complex caseload within the multi-disciplinary team, undertaking a range of clinical assessments and offering highly skilled treatments or therapies that are outcome focused and evidence based, using appropriate therapeutic modalities.   <p>The Vincent Square Eating Disorder Service offers specialist services for children and young people who are suffering from eating disorders. The service provides a range of treatments across the existing outpatient service.</p>
<p>We currently have a permanent position for a band 7 Family Therapist to work in the Children and Young People's Eating Disorder Service.</p>
<p>The post holder will work alongside a team of family therapists, psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists and other disciplines.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>The SET CAMHS crisis and therapeutic home treatment team offer assessment and interventions to those young people presenting with mental deterioration or crisis presentations. As a service we now work within the Thrive model and implement collaborative care plans with our community services and community SET CAMHS team to promote positive outcomes for vulnerable young people and their families-there are opportunities here for join working and co-ordinating alongside the community based teams. Our approach to working is being developed with a focus on meeting the needs of the young person to ensure effective clinical practice and brief therapeutic interventions, and to reduce risk to have a stabilising impact within a containing approach. Within the service there are opportunities for development and training in various therapeutic approaches, and all new starters will be provided with a full induction and opportunities to shadow the team and to learn about the various departments/teams within the SET CAMHS model. We also welcome candidates from internal teams who may be interested in career progression and are wishing to enhance their practice and skillset in relation to this client group. Regular clinical supervision and reflective space is offered to members of the team, and the team operates on a shared risk model to ensure that decisions are made collectively with effective formulations of need.</p>
  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will benefit from being part of a friendly, supportive, dynamic and developing service based within Essex. The successful candidate will work alongside highly motivated colleagues and have access to effective supervision, both individually and group formats, and be supported with CPD requirements through relevant training. There will also be additional training and development opportunities as the service grows and develops, including opportunity to contribute to the care of young people within the A&amp;E pathway.</p>
<p>We are looking for candidates who have enthusiasm and passion for meeting the needs of young people in crisis and supporting the families who support them, as well as being adaptable, enjoying variety, working independently, as well as understanding the relevance of team working.</p>
  <h3>About us</h3>
   <p><strong>Probationary Period</strong></p> <p>This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).</p> <p><strong>Starting with NELFT</strong></p> <p>NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.</p>
