  <p>We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, committed, and compassionate Assistant Psychologist to join our Community Learning Disability Team in North Tyneside. The newly appointed clinician will join our multi-disciplinary team, consisting of Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapist, Community Learning Disability Nurses and Support Workers.</p>
<p>We are a lifespan service and provide a wide range of services to both adults and children with learning disabilities and physical health needs, mental health needs, forensic histories, behavioural expressions of need, and dementia, amongst other areas of work.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate will be passionate about working in collaboration with individuals, their carers, family, systems and professional colleagues to enhance health and well-being, improve quality of life for our clients and their systems, address health inequalities, and promote positive health outcomes.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will be managed and professionally led by the principal clinical psychologist for North Tyneside Community Learning Disabilities Team and supervised by other qualified staff. The post combines administrative support for qualified psychologists; a clinical role, focussing on supporting our qualified staff in assessments and therapeutic interventions; and support with research/service development and audit.</p>
<p>The post-holder will be empathetic, adaptable and responsive to the needs of our patients and have experience of working with people with learning disabilities. Experience of working with dementia is also desirable. The post-holder will also demonstrate emotional resilience and a capacity to maintain a compassionate approach even in stressful situations. Experience of using psychometrics or carrying out research would be beneficial as this will be a key part of the role.</p>

  <p>We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or Psychotherapist with relevant experience to join our Home Treatmentservice in Sheffield. The teams work with a range of partner agencies, including GP's and VCSE organisations, to deliver interventions and treatment to people with a range of mental health difficulties in crisis including those with serious mental illness with a focus on reducing risk and avoiding hospital admission. The successful candidate will join a large team of supportive multi-professionals alongside clinical and forensic psychologists, psychotherapists and clinical associate psychologists within the acute, crisis and inpatient psychology team.</p> <p>This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience of supporting people at risk of hospital admission to receive specialist care at home.   <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and innovative radiographer/technician who ideally has previous experience working in Nuclear Medicine, to join our small team.</p>
<p>We are a state of the art department comprising of 2 hybrid SPECT/CT scanners and 1 dual headed gamma camera. We carry out diagnostic imaging, non imaging examinations and treat benign and malignant diseases by means of our therapy service.</p>

  <p>The successful candidate will be required to undertake a full range of Nuclear Medicine duties including routine scanning, processing, dispensing and administration of Radiopharmaceuticals using relevant systems of work and applications. Rotate through radio pharmacy production, and learn specialised skills such as sentinel node localisation and myocardial perfusion stress testing.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As a PWP you play an integral part in the everyday workings of the service, from promotional work to assessing patients to providing clinical evidence-based interventions to help service users make lasting changes in managing their mental health.</p> <p>Post holders will be completing clinical contacts 1:1 face to face, over the telephone, video consultation, group courses (remotely and in person) and CBT. Where needed, holding discussions with step 3 and/or step 4 clinicians to ensure step ups and safe onward referrals are completed and that patient dignity and confidentiality is maintained at all times. There will also be opportunities for community outreach work to promote the work we do to other services, educational settings and careers events.</p> <p>The post-holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities. The post-holder will be required to work at any times between 8am and 8pm on weekdays, as required by the service. The post-holder will also be required to participate in evening clinics offered by the service between 5pm and 8pm.</p> <p>Alongside LI and HI CBT, the service offers Counselling for Depression, Couples Therapy for Depression, Mindfulness based CBT, IPT and EMDR.   <p>This role is based in the Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin NHS Talking Therapies Service (IAPT) and it aims to develop the Step 2 service provision within NHS Talking Therapies</p>
<p>In the role you will offer evidence-based practice in guided self-help/low intensity CBT, assessing and treating our local population. Alongside this, you will support access into service for populations that we do not reach effectively, covering the Global Majority and Older Adult (65+) demographics. You will use special knowledge and experience in these areas to help organise, run and Step 2 therapy groups for specific populations, liaising with the 3rd Sector.</p>
<p>You will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and may be called upon to work in various community settings (including GP surgeries and other, 3<em>rd</em> sector, settings) and psychological treatment centres.</p>
