  <p><strong>Are you an HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist looking for a new challenge?</strong></p> <p><strong>We have a new opportunity for a part time Clinical Psychologist to join our CAMHS Eating Disorders Team, where you will have the opportunity to use and develop your specialist skills.</strong></p> <p>You'll be working as part of a team that has recently won the Oxford Health staff 2024 Flexible team award. We pride ourselves in investing in staff with training and development opportunities available to all. Training, supervision and special interests groups are available to enhance your competencies in delivering specific therapeutic interventions including FT-AN, CBT (including CBT-E), NET etc.</p> <p>As a more senior member of the team supervision, consultation and leadership are key and training and development opportunities related to this are multiple.</p> <p>You'll be spending your time in our Specialist Eating Disorders Team. The CAMHS teams are multidisciplinary and you will be part of a psychological therapies workforce that includes a Consultant Psychologist, band 7 Psychologist, clinical associate Psychologists, Trainee Psychologists, CBT Trainees / Therapists and Children's Wellbeing Practitioners.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Working as part of our multi-disciplinary team, which consists of Psychologists, Family therapists, Psychotherapists, Children's Wellbeing Practitioners, Psychiatrists, Nurses, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists, and in a team where a number of specialist clinics are offered eg LD, NDC, FT, ED, you will find plenty of opportunities to learn from colleagues and share expertise.</p>
<p>On a day-to-day basis, you will be working within the CAMHS Eating Disorder Service ensuring the systemic provision of a high-quality specialist clinical psychology service to clients with eating disorders and complex mental health problems including severe, enduring and multiple disorders. You undertaking mental health assessments, formulating, risk assessing and devising evidence-based care plans for children and young people (CYP). Collaborative working is key and we are proud of the relationships the team has with partner agencies including Salisbury District Hospital.</p>
<p>We have a strong psychology network and professional leadership across the 5 CAMHS teams in BSW (Bath and Northeast Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire) and strong links with the Doctoral Training course at Bath University.</p>

The person should be someone who is willing to engage with both health and community working to support existing structures of clinical care in conjunction with our social prescribing and self-management offer.</p>

Alongside delivering NICE recommended therapies such as CBT for psychosis and family interventions, you will work as part of a committed multidisciplinary team, ensuring care is joined up, formulation driven, and responsive to our community's needs.</p>

  <p>As a psychologist you will be central to the MDT, providing therapy to service users and their families, and supporting the team through reflective practice, consultation, supervision, and training.   <p><strong>The Role and Person</strong></p><p>You will be responsible for delivering outcome based psychological therapy that is uniquely tailored to meet the needs of service users living in the region. You will supervise a number of assistant psychologist supporting them in a manualised treatment approach, whilst working with the wider team on more complex cases. You will be offered supervision from a consultant Psychologist working within our service, they will encourage you to develop your strengths and skills with opportunities for professional development. </p><p>The service is community based and appointments are offered where possible in the service users locality as well as remotely via telephone and video. As some travel will be required, a full drivers licence is essential or access to good public transport links. However, in return, you will also benefit from having the flexibility to work from home when appropriate to do so.</p><p>The successful applicant will join a highly motivated, supportive and friendly multi-disciplinary team, and will report directly to the Clinical Lead. The service is psychology-led and holds psychological assessment and formulation, as well as the service users we work with, at the core of everything it offers.</p><p>Experience of using a range of therapeutic modalities including CBT, EMDR and Compassion Focused Therapy would also be an advantage although support and development to gain these skills will be provided.</p>
