  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Trust (SABP) and work within Surrey Heath Community Mental Health Recovery Service (CMHRS).</p> <p><strong>We are looking for part-time two roles; 2 days and 3 days.</strong></p> <p>The post offers a diverse range of experience working with people with complex mental health difficulties. You will join a friendly and supportive group of psychologists in the locality and there will be opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills through CPD.</p> <p>The trust has an enviable care pathways system which values psychology, psychotherapy and the arts psychotherapies and there are opportunities to train in CBT for psychosis, family interventions, CBT for personality disorders, compassion-focussed supervision, EMDR and structured clinical management. Employees are also able to access leadership and management as well as coaching and mentoring specific to psychologists and additional supervisors training.</p> <p>As a Trust we pride our-selves on our innovative and collaborative approach to providing the highest quality, person-centered care. We have a comprehensive primary care personality disorder services as well as established primary care MH teams working alongside GP practices.   <p>We are delighted to share a rare and exciting opportunity to join our friendly, well-established team in a brand new role at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Due to expansion and improvement of the Acute Medical Unit (AMU), we are seeking to recruit a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to be joint team lead for the acute team, and to clinically lead on delivery of the service to AMU.</p> <p>The postholder will share responsibility for leading the acute team of band 5 and 6 SLTs and a band 4 assistant alongside the other band 7 team lead, and will have access to CPD, supervision, peer support and internal and external training opportunities to develop and enhance their leadership skills.</p> <p>The successful candidate will carry a caseload of patients on AMU, including patients with and without tracheostomies, and those receiving non-invasive ventilation. The role is primarily split between our acute Stroke Unit and Alderbourneneuro-rehabilitation ward. There will be opportunities to gain experience on the acute wards, as well as achieving Videofluoroscopy competencies and/or FEES competencies. The post holder will work as part of the SLT team and wider MDT and will be supported and supervised by a Highly Specialist SLT as well as the Clinical Lead SLT. </p> <p>You will have previous experience of the assessment and management of neurorehabilitation patients including dysphagia management and the development of communication therapy plans. Previous experience of videofluoroscopy and MDT training is desirable. You will have excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will receive regular clinical supervision, monthly CPD sessions, peer support and evidence-based practice sessions provided by our very supportive team.</p> <p>As a team we look to continually improve the service we provide; this role also offers opportunity for participating and leading on service development projects and outcome measures. You will be providing a service to children with visual conditions and their families. </p> <p>The successful candidate will provide a specialist clinical psychology service to children and families referred to the Ophthalmology team at GOSH, working closely with consultants and allied health professionals. The role includes provision of psychological assessment, formulation and evidence-based interventions on a predominantly outpatient basis.</p> <p></p> <p><strong>What we can offer:</strong></p> <p>You will be working with the Surgery &amp; Development Stream (a team of paediatric clinical psychologists) who offer psychological input to children under the care of thirteen medical specialties. In addition to your work with the Ophthalmology team you will contribute to the flexible delivery of psychology services across the stream, in response to new developments and organisational changes. </p> <p>We are one of three paediatric psychology streams within the hospital and sit within the wider psychological and mental health services. </p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As a psychology team we draw on a range of therapeutic modalities including Narrative, CBT, Systemic, ACT, compassion focussed therapy. There are opportunities to work in creative, formulation-driven ways with young people and families. You will be offering individual, family, parent and group psychological interventions, as well as working within GOSH MDTs and with external agencies.</p> <p>There is a strong commitment to continuing professional development in line with job planning. A range of academic teaching is offered within the department as well as special interest groups in medicalised trauma, medically unexplained symptoms, narrative therapy, cognitive assessment, and others.
