They will receive clinical supervision from a senior Psychologist (with BABCP Accreditation if required) and will work closely with AEDS psychological therapies team.</p> <p>The post holder will be responsible for providing or contributing to the clinical supervision of Trainee Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists; this is, with support and, where applicable, training to assist in the development of these supervision skills.</p> <p>The post holder will be expected to carry out comprehensive assessments and formulations and plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of their psychological interventions (individual and group). They will additionally be required to contribute to the work and functioning of the multi-disciplinary team, where appropriate.</p>

<p>Counselling training providers usually require you to obtain a certain amount of client contact hours with adults i.e. 18 years plus, therefore it’s important to note that the majority of clients accessing our CDI counselling services are under 18 years of age. As a student placement provider, CDI makes for an ideal 2nd placement that will ensure you have adequate young people contact hours, largely under 18 years of age, providing you with the learning experiences you need to meet the competency requirements of your training course and provider. As a temporary <strong>Mental Health Support Worker</strong>, you ll be providing high-quality care across a range of settings, from supporting living to mental health units and secure units providing support and care to persons with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and more complex care needs. You ll become part of a compassionate team where every contribution counts. Experience of working with 1:1 s would be advantageous but is not essential.
