  <p>We are seeking keen and capable clinicians for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner role within the South Bristol CAMHS team.</p> <p>We are a service working with children and young people with complex mental health needs. We use the CAPA model of assessment and treatment, which would involve working with a variety of clinical presentations and needs, including suicidal thoughts, low mood, anxiety, OCD and emerging psychosis, often alongside neurodiversity. We also have a lot of referrals for young people with disordered eating and diagnosed eating disorders, and there are opportunities to work within this clinic if this is something you are interested in.</p> <p>We are looking for a practitioner with a core professional registration, including registered nurses, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, art therapists and CBT therapists.</p> <p>South Bristol is an area of significant disparities in health, wealth and access. Then, we would love to hear from you.</p><p>We are looking to recruit a suitably qualified HCPC Registered Clinical or Forensic to work within Ashford, our low secure inpatient unit for people with learning disabilities. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 8a Psychologist to clinically lead the psychological service as well as having an active involvement in wider service improvement and delivery projects.</p><p>We have a track record of innovation and service development which we strive to maintain and improve upon, being one of few services accredited by both the QNFMHS and QNLD. We have adapted and implemented the Good Lives Model of care to support a service-user led service whilst informing an individualised plan of care. The Multidisciplinary team are enthusiastic to work in a psychologically informed ethos supporting psychological models of care that are in place, including formulation, Positive Behaviour Support and more recently our adapted Dialectical Behaviour Therapy service to encourage a trauma-informed approach.</p><p>Close links exist with the Southampton Clinical Psychology Doctoral Training Programme. The Trust supports continuing professional development and research activity, with established links with other Psychological Therapy Services within Forensic Services.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As well as being clinical lead for the Ashford low secure service, there will also be opportunities to undertake discrete complex pieces of work within our multidisciplinary Forensic Community Learning Disability Team (FCLDT) as well as leading the main CBT informed group psychological programmes across the two teams.</p><p>The role will allow you to administer a variety of neuropsychological and psychological assessments in addition to practicing direct therapy approaches and conducting comprehensive risk assessments. The service is always evolving so new psychological approaches are welcomed to meet the needs of our current patients. The candidate is to have excellent communications skills that can be adapted to meet individual patient needs as well as being able to work indirectly within established multidisciplinary teams. The role will require facilitation of formulation meetings and reflective practice sessions with the team to support high quality delivery of care as well as delivery of appropriate staff training.</p><p>The post holder will be supervised by the service Consultant Psychologist who is an Approved Clinician within the service, demonstrating the strong role Psychology has within the service. The role would particularly suit a psychologist who has special interests in working in forensic services and/or the learning disability field.</p>

<p>The teams work directly into schools and colleges with children and young people between the ages of 5 to 18.</p>

<p>The teams also deliver targeted low intensity CBT informed based 1:1 and group sessions, parent led workshops and creative based interventions to support mild to moderate social, emotional and mental health needs.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The successful candidate with appropriate supervision, will work as an autonomous and responsible practitioner as their training affords and within the scope of their local job description, to engage in.</p>

<li>Helping children and young people within these settings who present with more severe problems to rapidly access more specialist services</li>

The post holder will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of eating disorder presentations as well as co-morbid mental health conditions to allow for the provision of a holistic care package to the young person.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To complete specialist eating disorder assessments within the Community Eating Disorder Service for Children &amp; Young People (CEDS-CYP).</p>
<p>To act as the duty clinician on the rota of duty clinicians managing referrals and providing a rapid response to urgent clinical situations. </p>
<p>To be involved in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of children and young people with eating disorders in the community, to liaise closely with other health care professionals to ensure a consistent approach.</p>
<p>To provide specialist therapeutic interventions as part of individualised treatment plans based on psychotherapeutic principles which are grounded in evidence based practice and NICE - concordant interventions for eating disorders.</p>
<p>To develop and deliver our early intervention support pathway, including consultation, psychoeducation, self-help materials working closely with our assistant psychologist.</p>
<p>Care coordinate a substantial caseload of assessment, treatment and consultation work, identifying priorities of action in complex circumstances.</p>
<p>To utilise specialist skills in managing and communicating with patients, their families, carers and other agencies in situations that are sensitive, highly complex and may be emotionally distressing.</p>
<p>To evaluate and monitor clinical risk which will include physical and psychiatric risk for appropriate interventions to jointly manage risk and to inform other agencies as appropriate.</p>

Looking for a role with flexible working opportunities?</strong></p> <p>We are excited to offer an opportunity to join CAIST, our under 18's Crisis Service as an Assistant Psychologist supporting young people and their families across Norfolk and Waveney.</p> <p>The CAIST (Crisis, Assessment &amp; Intensive Support Team) service is a vibrant and dynamic service that has 3 teams based across Norfolk &amp; Waveney service, 7 days a week. The service is commissioned for 08:00-20:00 7 days per week.</p> <p>The team offers community based intensive support to children &amp; young people and their families. CAIST aim to establish trusting therapeutic relationships, to reduce risks when children and young people may be experiencing high levels of distress. We work hard to help children and young people avoid Tier 4 hospital admission, and when required, to expedite safe and effective discharge.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Whilst experience in working with children and young people would make you perfectly suited to this role, we are really open to welcoming people from clinical backgrounds who have experience in other areas of mental health. We understand that you will be able to bring with you a wealth of skills and experience to the team and would welcome new ways of thinking.</p> <p>You will offer direct clinical work (individual brief interventions and intensive support) with children under 18 years that have presented in crisis, alongside their families and carers where appropriate. You will take a key role in coordinating, delivering and evaluating our DBT-A informed pathway. You will be a champion for Routine Outcome Measures (ROMs) and will support embedding the use of these in our daily clinical practice across the service.</p> <p>You will also have a key role in service evaluation and associated data analysis, which will be supported and supervised by our Clinical Psychologist. There will be additional duties which will be considered and agreed with the Clinical Psychologist supervising you.</p> <p>Weekly supervision for this post will be provided by a Clinical Psychologist within the team. We have good links with the University of East Anglia (UEA) Clinical Psychology Doctorate Programme with previous post holders having been accepted onto the clinical doctorate and regularly have Trainee Clinical Psychologists on placement.</p>
