  <p>As a Senior Suicide Prevention Therapist, you will work alongside the Head of Centre to manage and support the clinical team in delivering our unique intervention to men in suicidal crisis and co-producing effective safety plans to maintain their safety. You will be an experienced mental health professional or therapist with demonstrable interest in suicide prevention and team management and leadership. Successful applicants will be joining a new team at a pivotal time and will have the opportunity to shape the local culture at James Place Birmingham. Training and support will be provided by the Head of Centre in Birmingham and the wider James Place team.</p>  <h3>About us</h3>
  <p>James Place exists to save the lives of men in suicidal crisis through delivering free clinical services. We currently have centres in Newcastle, Liverpool and London; and in early 2026 we will be opening our fourth centre in Birmingham. Our new centre in Birmingham will be there to support suicidal men living in the West Midlands.</p><p>Our trained, professional therapists deliver a proven clinical service in a warm and welcoming environment, ensuring that men are seen quickly at the point of crisis. Senior Suicide Prevention Therapist

  <p><strong>High Intensity Trainee CBT Therapist (IAPT)</strong></p> <p>We are looking for staff with</p> <ul>  <li>Degree level qualification (relevant mental health subject is preferable)<em>or</em></li>  <li>Core Profession Qualification<em>or</em></li>  <li>Low Intensity CBT Qualification (PWP), with 2 years post qualification experience</li> </ul> <p>To join Bradford Talking Therapies. We are an established forward-thinking 'Improving Access to Psychological Therapies' (IAPT) service as a Trainee CBT Therapist.</p> <p>As part of this role, you will be expected to attend University 2 days per week at<strong>University of Sheffield</strong>, working with clients on the other days. You will be expected to complete university assignments and submit practical tapes for supervision.</p> <p><strong>Please note:</strong> candidates who do not have a core professional background and qualification are encouraged to apply and will need to provide a completed KSA portfolio at selection.   <p>The Perinatal Mental Health Service has a diverse and highly skilled team of perinatal psychological therapists who are committed to providing evidence-based interventions to parents and families that are accessible and acceptable to the diverse South London population. We are recruiting for a permanent position with the Lewisham Perinatal Community Mental Health Team.</p>
<p>Our psychological workforce and the therapeutic modalities that we offer are a key part of delivering the ambitions of the NHS Long Term Plan. This post focuses primarily on delivery of perinatal psychological therapies for parental mental health problems, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). There is a focus on coproduction, quality, supervision and ongoing audit and evaluation, keeping the experience of service users at the heart.</p>
<p>The successful applicant will join a friendly and supportive psychological therapies service that offers opportunities for research and continuing professional development. Specialist perinatal psychology clinical and professional supervision will be provided from within the service.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>We are looking for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist or Accredited Cognitive Behaviour Therapist to provide psychological assessment and intervention to women, birthing people and families in the perinatal period, as well as contribute to the multi-disciplinary team.</p>
<p>We would like to hear from those who have experience delivering psychological therapies in secondary care or within a MDT setting, and are proficient in delivering NICE concordant interventions for depression, anxiety disorders, psychosis and bipolar affective disorder.</p>
<p>You will ideally have experience of working with parents and families within the perinatal period and / or a keen interest to develop knowledge and skills in this area. Specialist perinatal supervision will be provided and you will join a friendly and supportive team of specialist perinatal psychologists and psychological therapists.</p>



  <h3>About us</h3>
  <p>Perinatal Mental Health Teams (PMHTs) are secondary care mental health teams that specialise in supporting women and birthing people in the perinatal period (pregnancy and the postnatal period) who have severe and complex mental health difficulties.</p>
<p>We assess and treat a range of difficulties including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychosis, personality disorders and eating disorders. The service is designed to provide timely input to women and their families to mitigate the impact of mental health disorder on the child.</p>
<p>We are a multi-disciplinary team including psychiatry, psychology, nursing, occupational therapy, and nursery nursing. The service works closely with maternity/obstetric services as well as other agencies (e.g., health visiting and social services). We have close links with the Mother-Baby Unit (MBU) in-patient unit at the Bethlem Royal Hospital.</p>

  <p>Providing talking therapies to clients with Eating Disorders, providing supervision/training to other staff and acting as a part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team. They will carry a caseload of complex clients and be expected to be an important contributor in the team management of the most complex clients who present to the service.</p> <p>The successful candidate will undertake direct clinical work, supervision, consultation and contribute to teaching and service development as well as helping to consult and guide on client's psychological care, from a trauma informed perspective. The team are trained in different therapy models including CBT, CAT, EMDR and integrative therapy and you will be encouraged and supported to undertake further training.</p> <p>Previous experience of eating disorders is necessary. You will be provided with professional and clinical supervision, and there will be multiple opportunities to develop your specialist clinical skills.
